I am not familiar with any current eyeball or evil eye trends, but there is the greek "blue eye" charm or amulet - you see it in jewelry from greece, little round blue eyeball charms or some other such blue eye image on glass or plastic, supposed to be good luck, and protection from the evil eye. People give them with gifts, or like pin a glass eye charm to a baby's clothing, etc, for protection. You can google the blue eye amulet for more info.

He went crazy when we were on holliday abroad and they were selling it there. Hilarious that you're loving Tide! We've always used it so I think I just took it for granted... it is harsh on clothes though. Victoria's Secret says not to wash their bras in Tide. And I love that $6 is expensive for Tide but almost $50 for foundation is acceptable. I'm totally the same way.
