It is the paddling, getting out the back, catching the wave and standing up that is the hard part. This thing does nothing to help your surfing unless you have mastered all these first.

Just go for a skate or something because this is just stupid.

Haha no it really is stupid and given the amount of waves we have here its no wonder he is marketing it over there. Apologies as I have actually seen some photos of good waves over there at inaccessible-bottom of massive cliff type setups so I know that there are actually good waves about for those willing to search. this is a great idea - how often do you get a 4 foot wave, especially in England?? While this simulates surfing, you are still using the same muscles, and you can ride this thing indefinitely.
