Hi, I love your tutorial. I have a strange skin color. I'm not exactly porcelain but I'm not beige. I seem to have a yellow undertone for my skin, I suppose. I have a hard time matching my color. Do you know what type of tone I should be going for? Thanks~
I love this basic tutorial. Especially the orange lipstick for covering the blue. I knew the tip of covering red spots on your face with a green before you add the foundation. Thank you for this very clear instructive video. Offtopic, I love your voice as i'm currently struggling with my voice I'ld love to know if you did any training for it? Please IM me or if you feel comfortable enough you might wanna upload a video about it. Others might feel it helpful as well.. Hugs
A request: Could you list the products you use in the video in the description in the future? That would be really great. Very few makeup tutorials do that, so if I want to know what they used, I have to go through the video and listen carefully to what they say, which is kind of a hassle.
so my fiance (allan) has been thinking about it a long time and he wants to be Ally. We are planning on having children, so we will freeze sperm b4 he begins estrogen therapy. I am helping him to become Ally every way i can. I love him with all my heart and I've known for years that he wants to be Ally. I will be there for him every step of the way. We're getting our nails done today! and our hair tomorrow :)
@thetruekris You are a truly remarkable woman to help Ally become herself. She is very blessed to have someone as understanding as you. God bless you both! ^_^
what a refreshing video, I've been searching for transgender specific makup tutorials. AND showing WHAT to use so the rest of us makup Noobs out here that are transitioning have a hope
Just after the first minute you mention shaving...what products do you use..? Anything special to keep razor burn irritation to a min? Also, if it isn't too personal a question...are you on Hormones?
i'm so thankful to have found this tutorial; i'm not trans but i'm gay and wear makeup because i feel beautiful with it on; my question is about the first powder; what is it called? i have seen it but i don't know where to purchase it; is it usually offered in many stores or do you have to order it from some place online? thanks!
What a great tutorial! I am a makeup artist and would like to help women in the trans community near me. I just wanted to see what tips you gave, so that I didn't miss anything crucial. The tip you give with the orange lipstick, is similar to a trick I was told about for dark circles under the eyes-most particularly for Indian/Pakistani women. The friend who told me about it, was 1/2 Pakistani and said that this was her trick! I use an orange/red cream color. Anyhow, you are a beauty! Thx!
If everyone only knew how much maintenance T-Girls like us need.....you sure present yourself very well, your makeup really brings out your good looks...
can you spell out the name of the loose face powder high coverage... the one in the little sort of yellow round box. thanks i love ur videos.. can you also apply the makeup to yourself so i can learn in a tutorial? thanks
Just what Im looking for in your presentation. Thank you. (:-)

Your make-up here is very nice...you have the basic rule of thumb down.
...which is to choose your focal point.
You obviously chose your eyes, which is perfect...eyes deep and smoky, while your lips are just natural and dewy looking.
...not as much a fan of the caked foundation, but you did make sure to say to apply where needed, not EVERYWHERE. LOL
I would say your make-up is the nicest I have seen yet for a MtF, bravo hon. ^_^.

Hello, Ms. TinaDeWert. I am a woman with dark brown skin (not very very dark), should I still use the orange shade lipstick? Does complexion matter?
ViewTheWorld100 5 months ago
@ViewTheWorld100 You could try a darker more red orange, see how that works :)

One tip: Use Sunscreen...and if you wish, a skin rejuvenating cream. You have perfect skin. You want to keep it that way.

@ShelleywithanE The shade I use is Nouveau Beige, but during the summer it's a little light so I'll probably go a shade darker soon :)

what colour mascara do you recommend for mature ladies.
daithi1961 1 year ago
@daithi1961 A soft black or a dark brown would be good :) Lots of mascaras come in various shades, soft black, regular black or extra dark black
