  • I made one of these. I would say the fetus gains rights as soon as it gains consciousness of it's surroundings. That being said, if there's a situation where it's the woman's right over the fetus right, I would choose the woman. I think, as Hitchens said, rather than make abortion outright illegal, we should just work on making sure there's technology that makes the fetus viable at an earlier stage.

  • But what if we KNEW that the woman's fetus was in fact a new messiah that would save us all from Jesus??? We'd have to step in and stop her from aborting him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe

AC on 25 hrs a day? Hell, it gets hot in NC.

  • How about: When its brain is sufficiently developed to allow consciousness.

  • well, babies don't breath or open their mouths when they are in the the womb so they don't taste or smell, their eyes aren't open so they can't see, they might be able to hear or fell but i'm not sure,

but babies really don't know what's going on anyway

  • If you have the time or inclination, I have a playlist of 40 some Portraits of an Atheist on my channel.

There has been little deviation in opinion on these five subjects for most who have done these portraits. With all the atheists I sub to or run into on blogtv, etc with the exception of maybe two, we are are liberals, so it leads to reason that our opinions would be in the same ballpark. I think Agman should have come up with more diverse topics to get the result he was looking for. oh well

  • P.S. Good to see you back.

  • @2:20

Are these thoughts no-brainers or just considered outside the scope of abortion, for no one touches on these area's that keep coming to mind when I hear others mentioning this subject:

if given her the full rights to choose, which I agree with, why the double standard to punish the man involved with docking their pay?Are they willing to give up this 'clause' for their 'right' to choose?

Also how should it be handled when the pregnancy is used as extortion?Charge her with blackmail?

    sigh

  • hmmm, video isn't working for me :(

  • i do agree it is a medical procedure but late term is just not my thing.

  • I probably wont get to this until after the BlogTV charity event

  • For a second I thought you were black, because of the dark lighting. I was like, "Wow, I haven't seen too many black atheists." Then you started speaking.

  • The thing that sucks is that it was my video that was flagged (I guest hosted Dipshit of the Week 20), and that flag got eimajuno killed.

Plus, I never get tagged |:P

    Great points, BTW

  • That really sucks, man. Do you have a copy of the Dipshit episode I can see? If you set it to private and send it to me, that would be great (if you're worried about being flagged). Either way, sorry to hear about all this...

  • Sects

  • Fuck yeah, tagged Ory and Tat! Those'll be good ones too! Good video yourself. I do hope you expand on these in the future. Peace. -Max

  • Enough with the suspensions already. Also thanks for the tag Modias, I'll add it to my enormous list of upcoming videos.

  • Yes...

I've heard this about juno. I got my 2nd strike yesterday. Tick tock tick tock

You can post this as a reply if you want. :)

    Thanks for playing along.

  • Will post as reply. What did you get a strike for?

  • How about this... Why abort the child if you could let it to somebody else that can not have children? Let the doctors do a C-Section and let it live it's life. But ofcourse if there would be a much higher risk with the C-Section than abortion I would be for the later. And before anybody asks, life begins with birth (natural or otherwise) in my opinion, but why to destroy someones chance to have one?

  • The main issue with that is that a fetus has to be carried fairly far along for the mother to be able to undergo c-section. Most women who take it that far who don't want to keep the child would just carry it to full term and place it up for adoption.

  • Ok, I think that you understood me abit wrong. What I meant that if C-Section is possible, as in the fetus is able to live outside the womb with medical help it would be preferable to do it than not to. Since you did say that you count that life begins when the fetus is able to live outside the womb without medical help. That's the reason for my comment. I just think that it's better to give a chance for the child than not to. But if C-Section isn't possible for some reason I am for abortion.

  • re abortion - for choice - but i dont have an informed opinion about when life begins

re drug laws - drugs is too vague a term - some are clearly less harmful than many legal substances and others are clearly life destroying - crack/heroine/pcp are clearly bad and im not sure warning stickers on crack rocks would help

re gay marriage - why anyone would get married is beyond me :)

re free health care - Im from London and this new jacket and the padded cell I live in is totally free

  • Great portrait, my friend!

  • Why thank you! If I had thought of it, I would have tagged you as well...

  • Aww, that's sweet of you, but I actually got tagged to do a portrait video by the user kookyinc. I have a lot of other vids I still need to do, so it may be a little while before I get to this one.

Always good to see your vids, keep them coming! ;)

  • BTW, I enjoyed your responses.

  • Thx!

  • Where ya been kid? Great vid!

  • Working, writing, reading and brooding about my shitty internet connection. I will be moving again soon, but this time to a permanent location with good, steady internet! Missed ya, amigo...
