ok, sickos, enough with these dumb comments about how creul this video is:
First off, if this is what he does for a long time, sure, it's cruel, but it's only like 15 seconds! Second, the prancing movments are natural, he's just doing it on cue
And lastly, the rider is not pulling, the horse natrully holds up this head.
@theflackclan Only 15 seconds? Lol. The VIDEO is only 15 seconds. If you think the torturing is only lasting for 15 seconds you're bloody stupid. You even admit it's cruel, lol.
What a terrible way to ride a horse. Sharp bit, rein pulling and heels up and pricking SHARP spurs in to the sides of that poor horse. The rider should be ashamed of himself and get off.
@Laodeciea I agree that it looks like light rein pressure, but the shanks on that bit are pretty long. Even slight pressure with a curb bit can be quite painful for the horse because of the amount of leverage.
This isn't dancing. The horse is trying to get away from his torturer . What an idiot pulling the reins so hard with a bit like that. It's pure torture for the animal.
jesus people shut up and learn this is not a Piaffe it is 'caballo bailador' and if you did not know it means dancing horse. It is not based on timing or being even. it is based from the elegant high action and quick movements. So shut up and enjoy a nice entertaining piece rather than complaining that it is cruel just because if you yourself can not do it with your own dumb riding skills so it must be cruel? lmao
Beautiful horse :). HORRIBLE riding. Give it some rein room at least! A bridle and reins are meant to help both the horse and rider, not for pulling back so hard the horse's head is squished into its neck! U need to give the horse clearer commands, it doesn't even know what its supposed to be doing! Use ur seat! use ur voice! DO SOMETHING!!! Seriously, people like this need to be put on a horse with no bit or saddle, you needa learn to communicate with this amazing animal
@Stoneripple1 The horse's head is supposed to be like that. It's a spanish trot, aka it's not collected, hence why it is not allowed in dressage, Andalusians/Lipizzaners (sp?) and other "dancing" horses also have their neck naturally bent that way when doing spanish movements. It knows what it's doing, and the rider is giving clear commands, otherwise the forelegs would not be that high when trotting and the horse would not be trotting in the first place.
@fluffypinknoodle Getting the legs high like that is not so hard to do. Especially when you train the horse using a whip. It looks terrible. The reins are being pulled too hard and the bit is horribly sharp.
There were a few steps of Piaffe but only a few. Then a few steps of a nice Spanish Walk which is so good for suppling the horse but not often taught anymore. I think the horse was feeling his oats, he seemed ready to go for a good romp.
I went to a horse show once. The trainers and horses worked so well together! Sure they're probably not pro, but it takes a lot of work to teach a horse that. much less how to play tag ( I taught my horse that lol) It's fun when both you and your horse do something together.
the thing horses will do cuz a bit.. -_-

@Saartje05
He wasn't pulling, nor did I see his spurs actually dig into the horses sides.
Did you watch? Or did you just assume?
Laodeciea 11 months ago
@Laodeciea LOL. He wasn't pulling? He pulls so hard the horses mouth opens. Did you watch?
Saartje05 11 months ago
@Laodeciea
Actually, if you follow the movement of the rein, you can notice the pressure is minimal by the
way it slackens. Towards the end, he applies a gradual amount of force, but that isn't causing
the horses jaw to go ajar; the animal is heaving, and the way he is moving is unhinging his
jowls. And even so, whatever force is being applied isn't enough to state that the rider is being
cruel; every rider has to tug from time to time to keep the animal straight.

I'd like to see one of these dancing horse videos without the horrible bits for a change. Then I'd be impressed. Nice horse, stupid rider

Poor poor horse.
The rider use the reins to ride it, not his body...
And the horse does not even know for sure What it is suppose to do.
