I played this at an exhibition last weekend. I loved it! I think something was wrong with the version I played though--even on max acceleration it took forever for the train to accelerate. Awesome, though!

Yeah, though it's got Japanese trains too. Plus lots of downloadable stuff. Japanese trains it's got is the KIHA 38, KIHA 140, Odakyu Series 2000, Odakyu Series 30000 EXE, and Odakyu Series 7000 "Romance Car".

they arent from shinjuku, they are from tokyo station to Hakata, there is no shinkansen line which goes to shinkansen although there was plan to connect shinkansen to shinjuku in 80s, due to locals disapproval, the plan has been stopped

The series 500 were built in 1997. These trains run from Shinjuku {Tokyo} to Hakata {Fukuoka}.
