This is a kick ass video John! Actually I should say another kick ass video. Cool complex rhythms and interesting sounds. Hmm, I need to try that auto-dub patch I've been dreaming. Nah, still not enough modules :)
this video here got me back into my modular and now it has killed my funds but i love it. thanks john for the insperation and for checking my vids out and the great comments.
The racks you use are also impressive! Could you share the details about them. I'm getting ready to start building my first modular using dotcom, motm, and modcan b modules.
Thanks! The racks are EWI Tourcase and I get them from the audiopile net site. Look for the 10U high 10 inch deep effects racks etc. Very inexpensive too!
You should join up on the MuffWiggler com synth forum, I have some more pictures and info there.
Thanks! What we really need here . . . is for a major motion picture to be made about an extremely handsome and charming synthesist who is struggling against all odds to obtain esoteric synth modules so he can create his magnum opus dedicated to the timeless love he shares with his beautiful wife! Then all the married modular guys would have a VERY good year!!! ;-)
Haha! And you're willing to play that role if you get enough money to buy your ESP Mindbender XL analog thingy and a choice of the actress who'll play your gorgeous posh funkalicious spouse ;o)#
Nice demo, John. I like the punch & snap of the sounds as well. That kick sounds like someone is driving nails with a salted cod on carpet... but that's just me...
Thanks! That's a cool image . . now I'm picturing some tall scary bald headed dude feverishly pounding nails into his living room carpet with a cod while a larn sprinkler is running in the middle of the room! ;-)

Great demo. Don't know why but I get associations of a New Orleans street band ;-)

Thanks! New Orleans? hhmmm . . maybe. It was kinda reminding me of that Cotten Eyed Joe song though! ;-)

Great demo! The more I see that 730, the more I want one. I'll have to stop watching your videos or I will end up divorced!
