hi Knowflash, you are amazing indeed. i really wanna say thank you for giving us a very informative tutorials, your voice is clear and i clearly understand all of your tuts... keep it up dude :) i am a damned beginner and i wish, i could be just like you in using flash.. :)
If this was some kind of live lecture, I'd agree with you, but since you yourself have managed to identify the pause and rewind buttons, I'm confused as to why you find this a problem.
I have a problem when trying to change the first letter in the "Color" menu. After click the selection tool and clicking the letter, I try and change it to linear but it won't let me. Thanks.
the problem you are encountering i encountered as well the resolution to this is to break apart twice (i didnt hear him say to break it apart twice)but when i listened to it again he does say to break it apart twice. Hope this helps
Why do I have problems importing music in Flash? An error pops up saying "One or more files could not imported because their were problems reading them." Only songs from other sites like gg(dot)shrine, but that site is down because it needs donation in order to continue. Newgrounds' files work too, but they don't have original soundtracks from games.
NapalmXD(1 week ago) is it me or is the sound just BS.
azrienoch(1 week ago) I'm pretty sure it's just you. Try it with a nice pair of headphones.
NapalmXD(1 week ago) Well the whole thing was a bit quiet but the bed part started at 0:57
azrienoch(1 week ago) I finally found the spot where it goes quiet, but only after going through a bunch of computers. There may be a certain few brands of speakers or computers that aren't processing it correctly. Not sure how to check for that.
I've been going over videos, converting them to a better quality format in preperation for the new site launch, and I can confirm that some videos do in fact have much quieter narration. This is one of the videos that does, and some videos differ due to the sound level editing in the program I use to produce the tutorials. I was unable to create a consistent audio level, though all new tutorials will now be at the correct level.
The volume is quite low and the audio is rather noisy. Maybe you could improve your tutorials by replacing the soundtrack afterwards. That way you could focus on the narrative without being distracted by the occasional little mistakes and problems with the screen capture software. On the other hand, these videos are useable too. I'm a complete novice, so I'm happy with any decent tutorial at the moment. :)
Well I'm not able to buy professional recording equipment since I provide these tutorials for free (yet people still feel it's their duty to scrutinize every last aspect of them) so audio would still be the same quality whether it was added during of after production. I still endeavour to remove clicks and loud segments afterwards, however. If you want to see narrative added post production, check out the "How to upload flash movies to YouTube" video.

Seems ok for me, but some videos are quieter as I've explained before. As long as it's audible when turned up, it doesn't really matter though.

Was the sound a bit low for any one else?
NapalmXD 3 years ago
Hmm, the sound seems to be working fine on my end. I'll look into it.
KnowFlash 3 years ago
It's fine for me.
