It isn't necessary to pound in the bass when tuning there. In fact, it may be better not to in my experience. Save the pounding for the treble area, esp. the octaves above middle C.
I personally favor the Verituner as well as Tunelab. But I'll concede all the ETA's are accurate. However, the SAT I didn't do a great job in the bass, often leaving it too sharp(as I later determined using the Verituner).
I wish I could. But the last time my dad hired someone , they said that it was the last time you could tune it... although I highly doubt that's the case... just change the strings right?

What's the point of putting up a How-to video on tuning when you're using an electronic tuner?
Would have been more useful to show how to tune by ear.

@Rheostatik tuning by ear is a talent not everyone can acquire.

Why do they call the lowest note A-0? It should be A-1, since it's the very first "A" on the piano

The first three notes on the piano keyboard are O: A-O, B flat O and B-O. The first key that is a 1 is C-1.

that looks kinda confusing.... my piano really needs tuning. i didnt have the tools to tune it, but i was thinking of getting some off of ebay.

Do yourself a favor and spend that money on hiring a professional tuner instead, tuning is a lot harder than it looks.

If you live in the Chicago area, call me. I have tuned since 1977, about 40,000 pianos.
