There are plenty of 1.8's with that much HP out there. The one in this video doesn't have that much but it doesn't need it. It's fully stripped, probably weighs about 2,000 pounds, and has a lot better power/weight ratio. Weight plays a HUGE role in racing.
I don't think he was trying to race you... PS Modern V8/V10s get around 20mpg. American Muscle can handle better, has way better resale value, and chicks dig them =). When ever somebodies see a lil Honda, they know that your on welfare
for all the doubters....turbos or other modifications will substantially boost your engines overall horsepower output. which will make the car accelerate at a much quicker rate than the stock engine. this effect enables a rather unassuming car, to win an acceleration test (drag race) against a much bigger exotic car such as the lambo shown here in this video. hope that helps clear things up. hope you enjoyed the lesson.... stay tuned for next weeks lesson.. long division made simple. :)

Also, you might want to do a little reading, 700HP from a Honda isn't that uncommon. Forced induction ftw.

There are plenty of 1.8's with that much HP out there. The one in this video doesn't have that much but it doesn't need it. It's fully stripped, probably weighs about 2,000 pounds, and has a lot better power/weight ratio. Weight plays a HUGE role in racing.

for all the doubters....turbos or other modifications will substantially boost your engines overall horsepower output. which will make the car accelerate at a much quicker rate than the stock engine. this effect enables a rather unassuming car, to win an acceleration test (drag race) against a much bigger exotic car such as the lambo shown here in this video. hope that helps clear things up. hope you enjoyed the lesson.... stay tuned for next weeks lesson.. long division made simple. :)
