Danny Carey's obsessed with sacred geometry. And specifically, those 7-sided stars and polygons. They're all over the place in Tool's stuff. Including concert backdrops. I don't know if this is entirely true, but I read somewhere that he saw it in a DMT trip. I wouldn't be surprised.
