Rock Band 2 Drums with Cymbals

I don´t understand, you have two green cymbals, how do you know which of the two press, and one green drum too.

I have 2 sets of 2 cymbals for my Rock Band drums kit and I would like to know how to get the 4th cymbal to sound like the opened hi-hats since I get the closed hi-hats with a single connection in the yellow socket. Do I only install a doubler and connect both cymbals or what?

@ysta25 I would do that. Buy a splitter and plug two cymbals into the blue socket, one for the ride, and one for the hi hat.

OK... so its been a good while. For the record this was about a year and change ago. This taught me the basics of drumming as I've moved on to actually playing in a live kit (Pearl) but anyway, point is the wiring is internal. You'd have to actually open the physical cymbals to make this work. What else...yes my dog is cool, thanks! LOL. Someone made a comment I only played it on hard, well thats because at the time I was still learning to play drums correctly. All in all glad you all enjoyed!

Dude, I'm a pro drummer, and I don't care about ION drum sets. They suck in my opinion, anyways. At least you can do a drum roll on a Rock Band 2 kit.

When i bought the cymbal expansion pack and hooked them up i didn't even get through the first song before i took them off and had them back at the store. The were near impossible to keep a streak on due to one hit would count as 2-3.

@MetalllicAISMetal No, the Rock Band 2 cymbals have a PCB that modify the output signal, the only way around this is to remove the PCB

Thanks for all the comments ladies and gents. Sorry I have not been on in a while. Been crazy busy. My Husky's name is Angelina and my other new Husky's name is Lana... The kit feels like a real kit with the exception of the snare not being in the middle of your sitting stance. Other than that though I havent had any complaints about it.

you can hit them whenever you can play the whole song just using cymbals (except for Red) You pretty much hit when you feel like it!
