Did anyone ever see the English version of The Golden Girls?They were meant to be in Brighton,and they just did the exact same dialogue as the originals!!I remember watching the very first episode,which was the pilot of The Golden Girls...Sheila Hancock was in it,as Dorothy if i remember well enough!!It was completely awful,and totally UNfunny...which just go's to show that these actresses (Bea/Rue/Betty and Estelle,were absolute masters of their craft,and worked pure magic together!!

@kanenite1985 The Bold & The Beautiful soap opera. She played mother to the character of Stephanie Forrester. Great back story of how Betty White's tv spouse was physically abusive to Stephanie Forrester. Betty White's character would deny the abuse ever took place. BW's character was the exact opposite of the naive, bubbly character on Golden Girls. Very powerful storyline.
look at 2:07 there is like a mask looking into kitchen with rose and dorothy when rose was talking about belguin waffles. i had to stop and rewind a few times to see what that is.
Its just plain stupid to say I Love Lucy doesn't compare to Golden Girls! They are two completely diff shows from two completely diff times! I love Lucy is a classic and is the only 50's show that still is funny today, the Golden Girls came at a diff time where they could be racey and there were no restrictions! I LOVE BOTH SHOWS PERIOD! Two of the best shows EVER!
