  • it doesn't sounds like '' big in japan''

  • For those interested, Alphaville did not use a JX-8p, they used a Jupiter-8, and the bassline in Big in Japan was played on a Roland system-100 (not the "wall of modules" one).

  • der jx8p is schon geiles ding..hol ich mir

  • great band alphavile the best

    but play camouflage

    cultura ecuador

  • where did you found that sound from JX8P?? from external source?

  • they realy should have a you tube section just for working talent. im sick, sick sick of wanting to hear a demo of some intresting bit 'o kit only to see some shlmiel 'playing" some sound pad with no usefull changes in timbre. if there is someone who can play sounds other then 80's presets. let a person know i will glady subscribe as this is my prime reason for being here.... uh ..that and the fat girls

  • I love your videos... can you do It´s a sin owth Pet shop boys.

  • sounds really good

  • I sold my Super JX on eBay in '99

I still miss it to this day. :(

  • Fantastic wow

  • amo el synthetyzador

  • I've got my Roland D10 in a Flightcase and hasn't been out of it for 9 years...It was my 2nd ever synth in 1990/1 I think. I also had the Jx8p, loved the sound of it, but it died...great hear them both again.

  • SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • good demo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fantastic! Brought a smile to my face to watch that being played and hearing the same sounds.

  • I have an almost identical Alphaville sound I programmed into my Roland Juno-60, but it's not as fat-sounding because the synth just has the one DCO (JX-8P has two).

  • the D-10 always sucked with the piano sounds, but the organs were awesome, but the piano sounded more like a cheap Casio, however, Casio nowadays is a pretty decent keyboard.

  • how are the piano sounds on the D-10? thanks, great video

  • the d10 is a synth from a time before piano sounds were any good.

  • Just imagine: No stereosample banks, no loops, just either wavetable SQR/SAW or one-shot sampled attack. about 22-32 kHz SR, few hundreds of kilobytes for wavetable data. Moreover: slow processor causing lags on large chords and AFAIK no DSP.

  • to jest the best . Dj Maciex (Poland )masz nuty do tego?

  • I wonder when a more futuristic instrument will come out? I can't imagine a better one than this.
