This was my attempt at humor, back when YouTube was talking about inserting ads into videos. None of us 'tubers liked the idea; I felt a parody would hammer the point home.

But that's how annoyed I would be if my videos suddenly contained ads embedded into them. Sidebar ads are one thing, embedded ads that interrupt the video are something else entirely.

So, I poked fun at the idea. A cautionary joke.

Google, I read in a news article recently, is seriously considering sticking ads before, within, or after each YouTube video, then sharing back a slice of the income to the video poster.

So... perhaps it's not entirely fantasy. We'll see.

Yep, that's a fair criticism. People have gotten used to humor with a super fast pace. Mine tends to be ponderous. But then, I don't make the mistake of thinking a career in comedy awaits me. :-)
