How is power supplied to the cars?

@musico81986 they work electric. The rolls are connected to one pole of current (above the framework, not visible from the cars) and as you can see there is a second current track (viseble from the cars, next to the roll´s track, under the trackway) with the other pole.

@nanderv The Schwebebahn's only recorded fatalities occurred on April 12 1999 when workers forgot to remove a metal claw from the track, causing the first train of the day to derail, resulting in 5 deaths and 49 injuries.

To put it in perspective, that's 96 years of operation (minus WWII) without a single fatality.
