@cloudmag The Nether is another place. You can't connect the Nether to the real world with a mine cart track. It's just not possible.

Oh man I hate the Nether so much. The noises freak me out as much as they do for you, and the Ghasts bombard me as soon as I step out of my portal. You're a braver man than I for venturing out so far from your base.
