  • Sei il mio cazzo di mito, che suono stupendo!!!

  • WOW! what a sound. I am a beginner when it comes to this style of play. I usually play rhythm acoustic and sing lead. As a novice in the world of ambient lead stuff I would ask that; if you have some free time, you shoot a video showing your entire board (maybe even explain the chain) while you play this type of stuff. I know you said something about "finger dynamics" while you were playing but I have to assume you were doing some other things to get that variation of sounds. Thanks!

  • @mac1cole Ya, I need to do that. Hopefully soon!!

  • I love this kinda ambient guitar stuff !!

    Cheers from France

  • @fylyp Thanks a ton!

  • what pedals were you using in this??

  • @TheFilmCreator1 The Boss RV3, EH POG, and This1smyne parallel looper were the main ones for the shimmer sound. The swells were a Subdecay Quasar phaser, George Dennis volume pedal, a couple DC Timeline delays, an Arion SAD-1, and a Diamond Memory Lane. :-) I haven't watched the video in a while, but I think at some point I use a Hartman Germanium Fuzz as well. :-)

  • ah how i love ambient music :) this is great stuff. is it better than verbzilla though?

  • @SmallFish616 Oops! Sorry, my previous response was because I thought you were commenting on my Behringer shimmer demo. No, for this one, these pedals together actually track better than the Verbzilla, give you the ability to go up two octaves instead of just one, and sound a little less 'classic shimmer', which I like. :-) But still, a lot of folks get great sounds from the Verbzilla.

  • its heaven for my ears

  • @gaboaaa23 :-) Thanks!

  • Kinda makes me want to make out with the Edge.

  • @Jpkingu2 That's the inspiration right there...wait... ;-)

  • I love the way you use the pog, but i don't like the price :p. is there anyway you could do those same "shimmering" organ like sounds with the micro pog? Also is there anyway you could get your hands on one to show what are some good uses for worship?

  • @jcbbagley I'll try, but money is a little tight right now. Sorry! :-) But the Micro POG will do relatively the same thing, it just doesn't have the ability to go up two octaves, which is the setting I'm using here. But used, you can find POG's for around the same price as a new Micro POG, if that helps a bit. :-) Cheers!

  • @Passenger95 i understand, it's all good. I may keep my eyes out for an old pog. Do you have any suggestions for a good chorus pedal? More of a modded chorus sound.

  • @jcbbagley My personal favorite is the Analogman Chorus, just make sure to get one with a 'deep' switch. The deep setting is what really takes it from classic chorus to more of a modulation sound, imho. Great chorus pedal. :-)

  • Ok, I am officially obsessed with this sound and the process in which you created it. Don't be surprised if I totally rip you off.

  • @cosmogang haha No worries, brother!

  • ahhhhhh.....This1smyne! I need one of those parallel loopers, I am sure I could find a use for it some day.

  • @cosmogang haha Get one! Nothin' wrong with more pedals! hehe ;-)

  • Passenger95 I have a few questions for you. 1. What do you think of the POG micro? I love the POG but am trying to limit the size of my board. I am trying to get that shimmering tone you have in your demos but am unsuccessful thus far. 2. Will the Micro POG with a reverb be able to get the same shimmer and synth sound as the original? I love the T1M blend pedal. 3. Where in the chain do place your Blend pedal that has the reverb and POG attached? Seeking tone is a drug and man am I hooked.

  • whats the pedal to adjust the wet and dry signal called? Just some kind of looper? I think the pog on the wet is so much better. i usually hear people mix it fully with their guitar for the organ sound but in my opinion it sucks the guitars natural sound.

  • @BamesBotter I agree, it does take away some of the guitar's sound. The looper really helps that; it's just called a Parallel Looper, and it's from This1smyne Effects. Have a great day!

  • awesome sound around 6:06 min! well done. amazing setup you have. so cool.

if you like, check out my ambient stuff and let me know what you think.

    cheers!

  • Your stuff sounds great, bro. :-) Cheers!

  • i had a POG, they are awesome pedal!! check out my old moog video, i used the POG in it, where are your Moog pedals dude? :)

  • Sounds good, my friend!

And I had the MF103 a couple times, and the Murf, but not at the moment. The new Midi Murf looks cool, though. Cheers!

  • Oh so you got a pog now?!

Love your sound and demos ,-)

  • Thanks! And ya...testing the POG out right now for its double octave functions. :-)

  • i just had a boner

  • I'm confused, but thank you?

    Cheers!

  • I love that my G-System has this feature build in. ;)

  • haha I know, I'm a little crazy.

  • Well, that too .. ;)

    But you do rock, Karl!

  • haha Thanks, bro.

  • Is the parallel looper the mini blender from this1smyne? Love the sound.

  • Yes, it is! He makes great stuff, doesn't he? And at awesome prices. :-)

  • Yes! I have his mini tap tempo at the moment. Hope to get the mini blender sometime in the future!

  • Right on! :-)

  • what brand parallel looper is that? also, since you're using the boss reverb in the loop, does that mean that you can only use that particular reverb pedal for the shimmer/synth effect only?

  • It's made by Dan Burgess, of This1smyne effects. He makes great quality pedals for really killer prices. :-)

And no, if I want to use just the reverb, I just click the POG off, and turn the mix knob on the looper all the way up. Although I did buy the Boss RV3 particularly for this usage, because it has an odd decay that works quite nicely in a synth-type sound.

    Cheers!
