It is scary-you've been working so hard to get to this point, now that you've gotten to it the thought is "now what?" You work so hard just to be able to get T that you don't stop and think about its effects on your life after you finally get it. You can't predict the changes it will bring and most people are afraid of the unknown. It's a major life decision and it's okay to be afraid, and it's also okay to be happy at the same time.
