I used to do this a lot myself, there may be multiple ways to do it. I followed your steps until the jump, where I'd always land on the second rivet of the part of the ramp where it curves to go up.

im sorry i think u can just, make sure u have a rocket:

1.get a shee

2.get in front of the tower

3.face downwards all the tme

4.get out and hit it so it stays there on its side.

5.get on the shees wing ball

6 look @ the other one and then shoot it! u get to the twer 2

So to make sure I'm doing this right...

1) After you crouch and walk backwards, you don't have to continue crouching, correct?

2) After you jump, do you need to press anything as you hit the ground?

And if I think of any other questions, I'll ask later.

a really easy way to do this one is to crouch into the pillar then let go of crouch but still walk farward and u should still b crouched. then just move away from the pillar and move to the flat spot just above the pillar then jump from there and land where he tells u 2 land but when you land do not b holding any buttons al all!! dont even b holding farward. then you should shoot up 2 the top of the tower.

PS:some times it will not get you all the way so if your like 2 feet from the top hold crouch and walk farward and that gets me up a lot. Hope this helps ^_^

Yea um you dont need to have a shaky scrren when croutching. all u need is a crouch spot where when you let go of the crouch anologe ur still crouching and then go to the superjump and land on it no mater what.

yea pinkfloyd is a noob but just to educate u guys in case u haven't played Halo in a while there are more than 3 super jumps on ascension. A LOT more. Don't ask me how many people are always discovering new super jumps so there may be a few dozen for all I know. I personally know about 6 - 10.

you can do them on Xbox LIVE WITHOUT getting banned, live alound thees super jumps in the game whil playing live. not bad, theres 3 more super jumps in that level there 1 glitch that i know of. you need 2 people and over shild. get a shee and go to were it spawns, have one person stand at the edge of it and take the shee and run it into the person thats standing at the edge, (Note: the person must jump at the right time for him to fly)

you can also do a rocket launch with it, only needs on and over shield, or you can go to the far right end by the base(while facing it from the middle) fly along the back end next to the inviso wall. then fly across the back end. then whilst in the middle of flight press a and RIGHT, let me repeat a and RIGHT! so you do a barrel roll then while in the barrel roll press X so thje shee flings you outside the inviso wall, and your outside the level.
