  • nice

  • Brother, could you give me the measure of the box of you orion hcca, i would like to know the measure of the box and the measure of the port, I would built a box for two Rockford T2 and I want something like 30hz to 35hz. Thank you so much!

  • hay nice set up! i have just got 2 kicker 15" l7 2008s their 4ohm and ive got the hcca d5000 and a cap, do you know where i can find a wiring diagram? will i need to wire the subs down to 1ohmn?

  • on the orion web sight

  • is that just one 15.2... i just ordered one a few days ago and im gunna power it with a jl 100/1 you think that will do it for now....

  • @TheronCulp dude the jl is less then half the power needed 1000/1 channel read you hcca min req its 2500watt rms 5000 peak .men lie women lie numbers dont if you got a jl by the way love this amp but your better off selling me the hcca and going and get an w7 13.5 or vise verse any ways/ all hale hcca

  • Hey, I have aquestion. I just got two of these 15's for my bmw 328i. they will be in a half wall int eh back seat powered by 2 mmats pro audio 3000.1d amps. Will this break my glass? or just ungodly loud???

  • no im sure it wont break your glass, give the 2 subs 10cuft. internal after port displacement tune the box to 27hz if you play a lot bass and slowed down music. and 33hz if you listen to hip hop and everyday music. these orions play very loud and nice at these frequencies. those mmats amps will power the subs perfectly. good luck

  • hypnotized by younng jeezy

  • These subs did good for me even though I was one amp short due to the Crunch having no available GP300D's at the time for months. So with only one amp and two subs 150.2 termlab on the dash/ 149.8 on the floor and 146.4 at the headrest. Underpowered these will pound...anyone in Ohio who wants em cheap. PM me...I am going FiBTL 18's fully loaded next season. PM me for details.

  • yeh and this is suppose to b ma future car -.- hurry and do another 1 so i can c walk to it =]

  • keep the grades coming and you will get a better one

  • "If you smell something fryin,Its your Orion" I had a HCCA amp back in 1990 that lasted a whole week. Maybe they last longer now.

  • the amps are slightly better, bit stronger, but i still prefer the old stuff and i still have a few of them. keep the install going

  • You did something wrong my friend. A 1990 vintage HCCA of any model is widely considered to be one of the most musical and powerful amps ever built.

Technically they only went up to 200w but we all know that wasn't the case.

I have two 2100 HCCA's in my garage and two 250 HCCA's, one of which has never been used.

They are very musical and extremely powerful.

Most amps today are Class D doo doo. Only suitable for subs.

  • I went to using SoundStream (D-200,and 3 Class A 50s).I agree Orions are powerful. I just did not want to invest again in one.Now SoundStream is not what they used to be.

  • sweet setup man. orion is my next, favorite brand, they rock.

  • so you dont like the mtx 9500

  • theres nothing wrong with mtx,its one of the brands on my list that im thinking of using, it depends on the price.

  • 1 15 ?

  • 2x hcca 15.2 and 2x hcca d5000

  • did you wire the subs in 2ohms? or 1ohm to get full potential of the subs?

  • it all depends on what amp you use, with the d5000 it gives you 2.5k rms maximum power at 1ohmn so i wire the subs down to 1ohmn.

  • i currently have 2 alpines type X's that are 1000rms and 3000 max that run from 2 alpine pdx1.1000 that run at 1000rms at 2 or 4ohm. Would these 2 pdx 1.1000 run 1 hcca15.2 fine?
