And the Knicks did everything possible to lose to Indy in the conference finals that year. The bottom line and it hurts me to say it because I enjoyed watching the 1990's Knicks but they were chokers who didn't get the job done. 1994 and 1995 were their years to win the title and they choked. Losing to the Pacers in 94-95 in game 7 at home, hell even blowing game 5 to the Bulls at home showed that mentally they weren't good enough to win the title.

If they play by the rulebooks of the 1990s then not only do the 1994 Knicks kill the 2009 Lakers but a sub.500 team from the 90s beats the 2009 Lakers (adjusted---what are you on man??? they couldn;t handle the so-so physical Rockets---well had to go to Game 7 at least). If the 1994 Knicks and 2009 Lakers played eachother with 1990's rules, the Lakers would have adjusted and toughened up and the matchups would have favored the 2009 Lakers, remember in the playoffs last year everyone was talking about how all the teams the Lakers faced were tougher then them and look what happened. The last part of your argument is void though. Weren't the Knicks Jordans personal girlfriend in the 1990's. The 1991 Laker team that played the Bulls in the finals was injured and

In the end the 1990's Knicks had the same amount of titles to show as the Lakers did and remember from 1991-1996 the Lakers were in rebuilding mode, post Magic. Like I said, I like the 1990's Knicks and the basketball they played but they were chokers and should have won a title but choked chances away in 1993, 1994, and 1995. 1993 because they would have beat Phoenix and 1995 because they would have beat Houston with home court advantage.
