  • gokil

  • great shot by any player ever

  • What a Aimbot.. hahaha

  • who would dislike this????? STUPID!!!!

  • see the reaction of earl.....hahahaha

  • Greatest moment in billiard history

  • He is big in trouble, he is in big trouble here...horrible..horrible..horrible...horrible, commentators said ..then the magical shot came and sank in..Ohhh Steven !! Ohhhh noooooo, what a shot!! I don't know !!! Ohhh my gooooodnessss!!! Ohhhhh boyyyyy!Hahahaha! The commentators rejoiced!!! One in a million magnificent shots from a humble guy! May the sports world will have more humble players too. God Bless you Efren. Thank U Efren for making this sport extra interesting to watch!!

  • Sleight of hand PRO!!!

  • the best of strickland.

  • i like how the announcers say it was a horrible move and kept doubting every shots. astig ang mga pinoy!

  • What a great shot from one the greatest players in billiards. I can only imagine how many hours of practice that Efren has put into this game we call pool. Seeing him kick at this shot shows his skill level & practice time at the table. I practice everyday and can only dream that one day I can pocket as many shots as he does. Great video of a living legend in BILLIARDS!

  • Efren should take a random blood test next tournament!

  • @chavez4ever111 I wonder why people like U ( & Floyd of course) always think of steroids if a player plays in precision. I assume your family name is from Latin America, doesn't sound American.U can have boxes of anabolics before a game, but steroids will not help in sinking the ball to the hole. Why did people never think if Michael Jordan was taking steroids too when he was flying higher than those much taller than him? A player needs a critical assessment of his next move. He's gifted. x-(

  • efren "IDOL".......

  • You know Efren is something special when Strickland does that.

  • Yeah that was a fantastic shot but what was more incredible is that Earl did not jump up and start screaming He had bean cheated!!

  • Such an incredible man

  • this is what efren can do in his prime. no one could do this except him. no one even think of that shot except him. he is truly the MAGICIAN. and god of pool.

  • After years of watching this video, i still couldn't hide my anticipation the moment he aims for the shot and every time the ball goes in,my butt lifts from my seat as if saying YES!!! Only the MAGICIAN has this uncanny ability to create UNBELIEVABLE SAFES (even unforced) and ONLY HE CAN MAKE UNBELIEVABLE SHOTS from UNBELIEVABLE SAFES. This is one for the books folks.

  • they called him the magician

  • thats my Idol

  • truly a MASTER!

  • earl got so much respect for efren :D

  • greatness at its best!

  • godly moves,.

  • roids!!! :)

  • Widely regarded as the greatest shot in the history of pool.

  • 12 dislikes are bieber fans..

  • loooooooooooool :D

  • the original Pacquiao

  • wait a minute...he didn't put down the last ball?

  • @soulrebelggg cuz the opponent gave up already... :D

  • @soulrebelggg I believe this is a game of 9-ball.

  • @soulrebelggg it's a matter of tradition, opponent usually concedes an easy 9-ball of the match-winning rack

  • All i got to say is..."What the fuck!"

  • Un-be-frickin-be-lievable!!!!

  • 12 people don't know a great pool player when they see one. SMH

  • す すげー 神業

  • As Efren would say, he got lucky :D

  • Oh BOY!! Oh MY GOD !!!!

  • mayweather might say he is on steroids too lol

  • @kirklon nice!!!

  • @kirklon floyd sr might name a new drug as well! LMAO..

  • @kirklon lol....

  • HO LEE SHIT

  • bala mu aku mu namn ing tinira nyang eku pa pasmadu!!!!

  • 11 mayweathers

  • maybe that 11 haters will include EARL STRICKLAND ahahaha

  • 11 haters... bitter life you have there! LOL!

  • wait, he didnt finish the match? Lol.. what if he mmissed..

  • great players take risk...

  • I like Strickland acting like a gentleman for once....

  • that shot makes Strickland shows his rare sportsmanship.

  • Fantastic shot

  • Reyes certainly can make some great shots.

As far as Mosconi vs Greenleaf, they actually toured together when Mosconi was younger and Greenleaf did have the early advantage in their matches but as the tour progressed things turned around and Mosconi won more of their matches at the end. Mosconi also beat Greenleafs record on the old 5x10 tables which was later eclipsed by Crane at 309, then beaten by Mosconi. The run of 526 was on a 4x8 table, he also ran 585 in practice with witnesses.

  • his probably using steroids just like pacquiao

  • this whole video was lyk a movie. efren is d hero n earl is d villain, u think at first d villain will win d battle. and of course d typical ending is happy

  • He can beat gayweather!!!

  • Filthy!!!

  • Jersey Red always claimed Greenleaf was better than Mosconi... Who knows?.. But I would tend to believe this generation plays better than that generation..

  • Reyes is a fine player but with 15 World Titles an a 526 straight pool run Willie Mosconi is the GOAT.

  • michael jordan of billards

  • I'm just as good as BATA

  • The "MAGICIAN"!! woooOohhh!! no one will be efren bata reyes.

    proud to be PINOY!

  • sus! maryosep! grabe! people of the world wake up, ganito talaga mga pinoy, it's another big thing in the world...!!!

  • the best attitude a saw from Strickland.

  • Iba ang Pinoy talaga.

  • Check Out Mike Massey In 3:18 . LooooL

  • I Wonder. Who Else Would Have Joggle Something Like That There, If It Wasn't Efren "Bata" Reyes .

  • Well .... Gentlemen, U Better Stop Talking And Just Go Do The Laundry Now !!! In 12-12 Final Game, Don't Forget .

  • Horrible Ahhh ???? LooOooL

  • hat jemand lust auf cam chat ;) mir ist soo langweilig

  • sports ganme ikabga sa blyaran sa kanto

  • was that strictland?

  • Yeah, Earl "the Pearl" Strickland.

  • unbelievable Efren!~ simply amazing!

  • He gave up, LOL, confident enough that he won't miss.

  • played him a few times that man is a master, only better player then him at the time was johnny archer

  • Epic!!!!!!!

  • the magician in 30 years.. no doubt

  • Lol i wish to watch him alot back then.

  • I mean I used to

  • o my... GOD!

  • Was this a nine-ball tournament? If so, how come Efren didn't have to sink the 9?

  • It looks like his opponent gave up and shook his hand , He basically threw in the towel.

  • because his opponent gave up. he basically gave the game to efren. beside that was an easy shot anyway a shot efren will not miss.

  • pinoy blood!!!!

  • magic.?hahahah

  • he is indeed! A Billiard King Icon!

  • he is a humble guy, thats why he my idol!!!my favorite!!!!

  • @sherwinKC hayop na grammar yan!

  • "He's got a funny angle."

  • one big reason why i'm proud to be a filipino...

  • Those shots were not done by instinct. Efren's brain who had assimilated and restored so much shot combinations in the many years he was playing the game, might have even used the laws of physics he definitely could explain, to silence those who thought he made an horrible move only to be awed at the end. No substitute for experience and playing the game with passion and resolution.

  • @elsoncanlas well said.

  • THAT WAS SICKK! strickland had a lot of headaches and heartbreaks againts efren during 90's

  • hanep!!!!!

  • Di pa sikat si Efren Reyes, naglalaro na sya sa Bilyaran ng Grandfather ko sa Avenida Rizal Sta.Cruz Manila.

  • Holy cow!! Unbelievable!

    Truly a Magician- :)

  • theres something within inside him!!!!!!

  • yay philipines

  • efren "mexicutioner" reyes hahaha jk!

  • Efren's PRIME was in the 70s/late 70s. People who knows him very well knows this. To be able to play in the US tourneys & get a US Visa, he had to use several names. He got the chance in the late 80s, a decade past his prime. But still he managed to make his mark. And boy did he made his mark. Imagine if he was given the chance to play in the 70s or even the early 80s. He could've ammassed more world titles. Look up "huge ownage against takahashi". This might be the closest Efren in his prime!

  • Simply called as The Shot Heard Around The World by Scott Smith ( tourney director ).

  • simply awesome!

  • best god damn shot THAT is what you call talent

  • philippine pride

  • wow.

  • I'll get down on my knees and kiss your ass if you can do that two times in a row

  • well robertus, start kissing Bata's ass

  • weeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh......the best pool player ever.......

  • the greatest!!!!!!!!

  • oh.... my... god!!!

  • efren is great mathimatician in GEOMETRY..he knows the distance and angle from cue to the subject ball in short period of time...billiard is a GEOMETRICAL GAME.....

  • 1:25

  • efren's unmatched skill and big heart to execute the shot at the most crucial point of the match makes this truly the greatest shot in pool history.

  • pinoy pride

  • stfu gago ka

  • im pretty sure he never even practiced that, he might of tried it in the pool halls when he was a kid... but those shots are not the ones you learn and practice.

he is indeed the best pool player ever.

  • I'm pretty sure he has encountered shots like this before, and when professional pool players practice they take shots that are close to impossible. preparing for the worst.

  • remember he has been a hell good 3cushion player

  • @0123kid just to give you insiight kid, he learned that shot from a newbie who pockets a ball with ppure luck, He imitates it and masters it, then makes use of those many unpredictable shots in a real tournamnet......

  • most entertaining pool player!!!! & the best!

  • 2 beautiful shots

  • ang galing!!!he hit it pa talaga at the lest rounds and the game was tied . whoever that shot would've won the game and EFREN "BATA" REYES comes up with it!! AMAZING....great vid for the classics
