Today on my way back from a cemetary in ohio i saw an unknown veterans grave and put a flower by it every one deserves to be rembered and i felt bad that i could not put more but that was all i had I will rember all veterans and will never forget Especially my friend Mr. G. F. who served in WWII as a child but played a big role against the japs and also served in korea God Bless ALL Vets.
This is absoulutley disgracful what has happened to these vets. They should be treated better by the government, who sends them into war, and by the people, who are protected by them.
Protest should be, as it always should have been, against the government that unnecessarily sends its sons and daughters (or more likely someone else's sons and daughters) into harm's way. Support the troops but protest unjust wars.
My uncle was treated like crap after serving multiple Vietnam tours, going to OCS and becoming a Cobra pilot - he gave parts of his soul, parts of his body and family in service - and was crapped on.
it is an option sometimes ,,soldiers they tend to have thoughts of suicide because of lack of support from the unit and army itself..they serve,deploy when they get back....they feel somethin and try to get help..instead of help army will give them bad judgement degrading words then kick them out for ptsd without the right benefits basically ruin their life
...being discharged with the bogus diagnosis of "personality disorder" so W and his KBR buddies can have a few more bucks to put in their bulging coffers. I support the troops by protesting their mistreatment at the hands of a corrupt, uncaring government who can't leave town soon enough.
They have been asked to do too much already, which includes being sent to war on the basis of the AWOL flyboy and "five-deferments-Dick," scum like Douglas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz, and Donald Rumsfeld, being sent back on multiple deployments, having their deployments lengthened to 15 months while their furlough is shortened, and being stop-lossed well beyond the end of the period they contracted to, being set back to inadequate facilities,
In answer to the question which appeared in one of the first slides, "Why did we protest instead of supporting them," I would answer, we protested then and now because we support them.
I definitely thank you for making this video. It is very memorable. My father is a Vietnam veteran so I can appreciate this. I actually just enlisted in the Navy, God's speed to all veterans.
