If only the issues in PCUSA were as simple and innocent as what salad dressing was used in a subcommittee meeting. I left my PCUSA church last Sunday. It grieved me as I love my brothers and sisters their dearly, but the state of the PCUSA gave me no choice.
@WC3POchannel10A That's my point precisely. The PCUSA is, without question, a flawed and sinful institution. As is the church you attend right now. As is the church I pastor, which I love most dearly. That is true of every manifestation of what the Scots Confession articulated as the "Visible Church." Recusing oneself from the company of the sinful isn't...well...it's not what my Master taught, anyway.
