Iraq was attacked because it was believed Saddam had WMD. And even though we've known for years there were none, there is still a quarter of a million allied troops in Iraq today. In contrast with what we know for a FACT, and not fiction about North Korea, why has NK's regime not been topled yet ? Because NK has no resource the western world needs to acquire. And so NK has nukes since 2006 and USA turned a blind eye. The war on terror is 100% fiction , 0% about security.
so are you justifying the death of hundreds of thousands of civilians and the occupation of a country by saying that oil is a need???
sure oil is needed around the world, but going about getting it the way america does is not the best way. and doesnt america get enough oil from saudi arabia?
in conclusion, i think its just greed. america wants to control ALL of the natural resources of the world and the oil of saudi arabia isnt enough so thats why iraq has been invaded.

Because no country will trade with them the amount they need. Our world resources cannot support this HUGE consumer. So, the US resorts to wars, overthrowing, assassinating, whatever the means. Similarily, in Yugoslavia, a bright campaign by the US to destroy Serbian power in the region to allow their pipelines to pass. Very clever.
But its very complicated... if the US did not have the oil, you can break down the consiquences into millions of parts.. .it never ends because everything is interconnected. It is not simple as, drop a nuke on that country, start a war in that country... its way more then that and we (average people) will never know about. So, there is no other way but to keep on killing each other, that is how we CURRENTLY know to run the world with each other.
