So let me get this straight, Lamont thinks that instead of more of the administrations fear mongering, we should ACTUALLY DEFEND THE HOMELAND! Secure the ports, nuclear facilities, etc. Lieberman jumps up to point out he worked on the newly signed port security bill - attached to it was the "Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act". Yeah, I feel safer already.
I thought Lamont did great. He was articulate and provided a clear analysis of the issue and a logical response. Lieberman was predictable but didn't really say anything new. I think it's great to have a businessman running. Business people actually get things done, politicians are all talk, and the difference really shows through between Lamont and Lieberman. Lamont has real passion and I'd love to see him get a shot at the senate.
