  • I love your videos! There super helpful :)

I can't wait for the next review.

Also, does the Biore Moisturizer keep the skin hydrated through the day? I love their products but I've never tried that one.

  • woah i hear janis joplin in the background haha and your reviews and advice were great i'm subscribing!

  • Hi on the L'oreal intense repair, is that a conditoner or leave in treatment. I can't seem to find it anywhere thanks.

  • L'oreal what is that a shampo or what I dont find it please tell me were

  • L'oreal is tested on animals, so if you're against that you might want to stop using their products.

I also love the Origins spot remover! It's awesome.

  • SHe is totally right , i had acne for 12 years and accutane saved me ,

  • Some people are criticizing me for taking it saying things like "it makes people kill themselves". I'm a firm believer that it's the way your face looks that makes someone want to commit suicide - not the drug. How do you feel?

  • I agree with you and as you said, you must ask ur dermatologist and its only sold with prescription as long as you take it under doctor´s supervision (as u should with any other medicine btw) it will do WONDERS! I no longer wake up and touch my face to know if i have a new breakout :D im so so happy

  • Aveda acne treatment works great for adult acne!works

  • Hey girl, I am addicted to your videos :-))

I am from Europe so I understand only like 70% of what you are saying but oh well I still love ur vids and I cannot wait for a third product-review! <3

  • Hi Sarah I would've never imagined you ever had trouble with your skin it looks so youthful and glowy. I too have struggled with break outs since my teenage years was put on antibiotics never tried accutane the acne has subsided now that i'm in my 20's but now I'm dealing with the scarring that the acne left behind. Have you had this problem what is the best thing to do. I've thought of microdermabrasion does it work though?

  • haha, I LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND!!!

Connecticut to be specific, but anyways. thank you for all the tips on this stuff, and yeah i checked when you posted the video, and around that time we really were getting some pretty bad weather...

I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS VIDEO EARLIER!!! haha my dry skinn was killling mee haha.

    thanks!! -Julia

  • Have you ever tried Cetaphyl face wash? did you like that? I'm always gunning for new acne washes and so forth, so I love your reviews on facial cleansers and moisturizers

  • I have tried Cetaphyl, but I feel it's more towards ppl who are post facial treatments or have REALLY sensitive skin. No soap or anything like that you know? Therefore...no drying. My thing with Cetaphyl is that it doesn't clean the face like a cleanser for acne would. If you've HAD acne and are instructed to use Cetaphyl, do it up. But, as an everyday wash I'd steer away from it if you suffer from acne. -S

  • Hi Sarah,

I love your videos and happen to notice in this one that you mentioned in-grown hairs. I have Poly-Cystic ovary syndrome and as a result im quite hairy, I have alot of hairs on my chin that I get waxed and tweeze out, but lately Ive been getting alot of ingrown hairs. Do you have any tips on how to avoid getting them, and when you do get them, how do you get rid of them?.

    Many thanks

    Cx

  • Hey CX, I actually have PCS too but I don't have any effects like that except I can't lose wright to save my life! Also I get the worst cramps ever...to the point of hospitalization. But you can treat in grown hairs the same way as folliculitis. Benzoly Peroxide - 10% (max dose) and a warm compress. Do the in grown hairs happen after you wax?

  • Hi Sarah,

I have problems with weight loss too, it drives me crazy.

The ingrown hairs happen after I tweeze or wax, my beautican has advised me to exfoliate but this does not seem to make any difference.

Thanks for getting back to me and thanks so much for your fantastic videos and great advice.

    Clare xxxx

  • Exfoliation only gets rid of dead skin on the surface. She probably thinks it's a pimple that's is related to a clogged pore, and not PCOS. I'd try the Benzoyl Peroxide, at a MAX of 5% on your face. If you get in grown hairs anywhere else go up to a MAX of 10%. Do this every other day only on the effected areas, then place a warm compress over it to open the pores and let them breathe.

  • Thanks Sarah

  • I'm almost 13, and I get bumps, not actual pimples, but they are extremely annoying. What would you suggest. I've tried the Aveeno, and it just made my skin look bad. The bumps I get do have puss, so I guess you could call it mild acne. Sephora is usually where I buy my skincare. Any suggestions?

  • I know, I´m not Sarah^^

But I´d suggest to wear Bare Minerals or a different brand of mineral foundation. I´m 17 now so I don´t have really bad skin anymore. But it helped a good friend.

The best way to make your skin look and be healthy is go to a dermatologist (i hope it´s the right word^^), a skin doc.

He´ll be able to tell you if it´s acne and what to do about it. Whene I was a little younger my doc safed my world^^

  • Hey Summer, thank you so much for reaching out to catherinelockhart. I'm sure she appreciates any help in this matter. I'm very glad that you did that ;-)

  • The "bumps" you're getting...do they mainly stay on your forehead? Or are they all over your face?

  • They are mostly on my nose, and they are really red. There are a few right in between my two eyebrows. Occasionally, there is one on my chin.

  • They may not be pimples hun. There are so many different skin allergies and disorders that are out there. If you are really bothered by this, have your Mom or Dad take you to the Dermatologist to get it checked out. I'd hate to give you advise for a pimple related issue and have it back fire because it's not really a pimple you know?

  • Thanks for the advice. I just bought a new concealer by Laura Mercier. What do you think of her products? It is called Secret Concealer. It is the one with only one color, not the one with two.

  • I think that Laura Mercer's products are kind of oily for my skin. I use the MAC concealer called Select Cover. I think it's only a Pro Product though?

  • What type of concealer would you suggest for me? I have a very pink undertone, and some parts of my face are dry.

  • Without seeing your skin in person it's hard for me to give that recommendation. But, I myself have pink undertones to my skin and combination skin also. I would say give Benefit's concealer Boi-ing a try in #01.

  • I looked at the conealer online, and it said that it was a under eye concealer. What would you suggest as a tinted moisturizer. Are there any suggestions for me?

  • Stila tinted moisturizer

  • Isn't it under eye concealer, though? Would it make my skin look dry if I put on a zit? How do you feel about Dior or Mac products?

  • I live in CT and buy bare minerals at the kzen store tooo haha

  • Shut up, no way??????????

  • Haha yep,it's a small world :)

  • Sarah your videos are my favorite i use them none stop and your advise is great but every time i write to you, you never seem to write back and i have some questions first im like broke right now so i need to know what expensive things you just cant live with out so i can just get those. second where do you buy aqage

  • Nice review!

  • Great video! Aveeno's entire Stress Relief collection is hands down one of my favorite drugstore lines and the scent is amazing. But I HAVE to know, what brand & color is your nail polish in this video? It is so flattering, I love it!

  • It is by OPI and the color is Sweetheart :-)

  • i love this color! i always get it when i get my nails done=D

  • This is sooo true. The amount of money one spends in over the counter products that don't work, one can spend at the dermatologist and actually get the acne problem resolved. ;)

  • I was on Accutane as well when I was in high school (5-6 years ago) and that stuff is amazing! It literally saved my skin. I can't even tell you how many other prescription gels/creams I went through before my doctor FINALLY let me go on it. I still break out sometimes, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. I love your videos by the way. ^_^

  • I tried googling Loreal paris intense repair and all I get is the loreal paris intense repair shampoo. I don't think that is what you put in your hair right? Is it a leave in conditioner? Thanks for your input.

  • Ahhh, fish through the comments about this. A viewer of mine told me they call it something else now. Mine is like a year old, and they changed the name on me! :(

  • It's sad that most of the products you recommend are hard to come by in Europe... on the other hand, that may well be the only thing that stands between me and a massive, devastating shopping spree after watching your vids. :)

  • hahahahahahahhahaa, that comment was priceless hahaha!

You can always search online for the products too!

  • I was looking for them, actually. :) i'd so love to try Hope In A Jar... the name alone... But no. I'll have to pester my relatives across the pond. ;)

  • Thank you so much for this review i will definetly try the Rare Minerals

Oh and i use the Aveeno Blemish Control Foaming Face Wash I LOVE IT

It leaves my face feeling so nice

    I fricken love that stuff!

  • i took accutane too. it was worth it. i still get pimples every now and then, especially around my period. but my skin is forever dryer now. did that happen to you too?

  • I still get breakouts around my period, too. But, I guess NO woman is exempt from that curse. I mean, fuck...it's not enough to bleed for like 4 days but hey why not break out too? Love it...thanks mother nature! My skin has been alright as far as the dry aspect

  • I wanted to take accutane but im not allowed because its so extreme and has so many bad things with it. I have severe acne, not just on my face but literally everywhere :( I hear a lot of good things though. It's good to see someone who has used it and gotten good skin from it. Im going to the dermatologist soon for doxycycline and im gonna try birth control with it. PM me back and maybe we can talk more! xoxo You're awesome!

  • What's up with the music??? 0_O?? I cannot hear your music°!!

Anyway this is great, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

  • is it okay if you use leave in conditioner and air dry ur hair cuz thast what i do and it works well enough

  • Hell ya girl! That works too, but my hair is color processed (bleached highlights) and that isn't enough for my hair.

  • rare minerals? what is that is that a make-up product or what? what does it do for your skin?

  • rare minerals? what is that is that a make-up product or what? what does it do for your skin?

  • if you go to the gynocologist for face problems then what are you getting done at the dermatologist???? lol ;)

  • I've been wanting to try Hope in a Jar but I don't have a Sephora near me. :( I think I'll have to get a relative to pick some up and mail it over, it sounds amazing!

  • Hi!! Great review!!!..I was wondering..have you ever tried MAC's skincare line?

    CiaoOo Marieke

  • i would never have guessed you had acne

    your skin is completely clear

that stuff looks good! :) thank you

  • intense repair is known as absolut repair now... it's fantastic!

  • You=Fabulous!

Thank you for telling me that because I'm running out and I can't find it in stores now! THanks again!

  • I live in New England, and I definitely know what you mean about the wind. Bleh, winters in Maine are terrible.

  • Thanks, great reviews, I love all of your videos. Thanks Sarah!!

  • OMG! Thank you sooooo much for this video!! I am absolutely looking into the L'Oreal Intense Repair stuff!

  • Hey Sarah! Thanks for another great vid. I think you'll be happy to know (if you didn't already) that there'll be a Bare Escentuals store opening up soon in Westfarms!

I have that Aveeno cleanser. I bought that aggeeeess ago but didn't think it was doing much for my skin. Maybe I'll go back to it the next time my skin acts up. =)

  • Ohhhhhhhhh I know LOL

I'm trying to get in there *if you know what I mean*

  • Thank you for mentioning the BE store in Westfarms. I had no idea and I'm now extremely excited!

  • yay you used my comment on Philosophy, i seriously think i am going to return it-but yay! I AM GLAD YOU LAUGHED!

  • Seriously, I fuckin' died! hahaha

  • i LOVE origins stuff. they have also saved my life skin wise. i have pesky breakouts due to hormones & i got tired of using medications that stopped working after a few months. a few weeks ago i started using origins after hearing about them from californiacosmetics - my skin has totally calmed down. to be able to not worry retouching my foundation all day long is like a blessing... i'm using the rare minerals & just started using the blemish therapy yesterday so we'll see how it goes!

  • I got the BE facial cleanser a few months back.. I ended up switching to Purity by Philosophy b/c I got a sample with my Sephora order... I think the BE just kinda dried out my skin after like a few weeks using it and having dry spells during the winter.. I probably will try again in the summertime.. However.... everyone, It does smell like vomit after mixing with water so be careful on that "first impression" Uck Factor :)

  • Great recommendations.

    Thanks!
