@MrDomo66 it is also in the Irish tradition but there was a lot of toing and froing. May have been brought back from there. There was a place called St Annes.now has a different name. Amazing number of what we thought of as Irish tunes being played in various styles and regions in the States and Canada.

I spent my summers in Cape Breton and I love the sounds and songs of Cape Breton. I have never seen someone so natural and someone that not only makes it seem so easy but enjoys it so much. There is no question that Liam will be a very famous fiddler someday!

I see you have an Ohio State sweatshirt. I hope that you don't favor sports over music, like I did when I was your age. I didn't think that a jock could keep playing the violin, so I quit music. I've picked it up again in my 40's, but I missed out on a lot. You have a lot of talent...keep it up!
