no not drunk. it was done like that as a rip-off of Blair Witch Project, which was also a big disappointment as a film. a better idea would have been to just feature a news reporter chasing the monster with a news camera (would've made more sense, how can a handy cam film that long using nightvision and lights without the batteries dying sooner?) And if the monster is a sea creature then wtf does it have those goofy legs and not fins?? Nothing makes sense, which is why I stopped watchin LOST
