HEY mate would you say this pro reverb has a better clean than the silverface vibrochamp ? I know this amp will have more low end with the bigger wattage, but how does it com pair to the vibrochamp for home volumes and clean tones ?
@UKToneKing the vibrochamp has a sweet clean for recording, but the pro reverb's clean is like a big canvas for all effects you'd want to lay on top of it - it won't crap out since it has so much overhead.
@Jahnli I know what u mean, the vibrochamp has just a good a clean but only upto a certain point, but the pro keeps on going, pedals work good in my champ up to about 5-6 then it starts to show a bit, I was thinking about getting a deluxe reverb or princeton reverb silverface as a 2nd amp, think it may be the PR as it has a nicer trem, & it's smaller amp with only 7 watts difference, think the PR is my best bet like as the DR is a little to big for home use
This is what my little room where I write looks like.... I still haven't moved into recording on the computer. "Get with the times," I'm told... "Nahh... I'll sit here with my amp and and sing." Come to think of it, you've inspired me to pull out my Tascom 4-track and try to build a song from it. Great showcase of sound here!
