  • WOW! THE ANIMALS!

  • Still my favorite clip of the Animals

  • Colin BLUNSTONE!!!!!

  • The Animals sound was the inspiration for Dylan's electric sound!!!

  • Shindig, which is always better than Shindrock.

  • 2:05 Whey aye man!

  • Rod Argent is the keyboardist with the Zombies--fronted his own band called Argent, had a hit called "Hold Your Head Up High." Colin Bluestone had a successful solo careeer in the UK. The keyboardist for the Animals was Alan Price. The bassist for the Animals, Chas Chandler, died a few years ago. Chandler was also the manager for Jimi Hendrix.

  • @sumnerhill There is a brief clip of the Animals organist, I think it is Mike Rowberry? who replaced Alan Price after he left to form the Alan Price SEt

  • love the Screaming !!! I was there with em ! thanx for a great post .. hugs x Lyndloo..

  • Rod Argent is on the keyboards. Love the Zombies.

  • Which one is Ron Argent?

  • I kinda like the screaming.

  • the best there, the zombies

  • all the know it alls, why dont u just enjoy some of your history!!! peace.

  • I read alot of comments about lip syncing...how do you know this is true?

These videos are so old and electronics were not what they are now. Then the streaming to get to us, alot is lost in the transference.

  • @VenusBlue4u its live!

  • That's what I was going to say too "god those screamers!" What's the point of even having the video?

This video should be called 'jungle sounds'...

  • The Zombies definitely lip-synched.

  • I couldn't hardly make out the Animals song GOD those screamers. I swear if I found out my daughter was a screamer like that in public (at a concert)I would slap her...how uncool. Guess they didn't have Riddlin back then

  • @VenusBlue4u That is one of the reasons that the Beatles stopped touring. No-one was listening to the songs. It was one long scream. Ridiculous carry on.

  • Great line-up here, all great performances; though I'd crown the Best, solely to----

Eric Burton!! He's a great entertainer, folks!

  • thanks for posting the 6 videos...great memories.....

  • from 1 min to 1 10 the guy on guitar was mocking the lead singer!

  • I don't see how, he's just doing his background vocals.

  • I think Zombies just did some reunion concerts in England recently.

  • You are very right Cyclist, and in April 2009 again 4 reunion concerts in the UK.

  • I like gerry and the pacemakers

  • I feel like it was a requirement for at least one member of the band to wear Buddy Holly inspired glasses

  • LOL - - true!

  • Burdon rules!

  • @pappatacio66 ERIC, HILTON, JON, CHAS AND ALAN, GREAT COMBO OF BRITISH DUDES WHO KNEW WHAT THE BLUES WERE ABOUT AMIDST THE POP WHICH DOMINATED THE BRITISH INVASION, YARDBIRDS ALSO WERE HEAVILY BLUES INFLUENCED UNTIL 1965, WHEN CLAPTON LEFT TO JOIN JOHN MAYALL

  • You can barely see Rod Argent on the keyboards. He was the best part of this band!!!!

  • You're right, bowler!

  • it was easier to lipsinch in the 60s,to much hassle getting sound balance etc.

  • Eric burdon is the best singer of the british invasion. Including The Beatles and The Stones.

  • I gotta agree about Burdon. He had a great run but is not nearly as well-remembered as he should be.

  • Burdon and the Animals were terrific...powerful moody singer and the band were always hardhitting. Paul and the Manns could play blues/jazz with the best but frustratingly stuck to pop ditties far too often...their B sides were great.

  • Was there any British Invasion singer cooler AND as good a singer as Colin? Okay, Steve Marriot, Keith Relf, Eric Burden and a few others do come to mind. But CB was amazing.

  • Colin was and still is very amazing! Best voice I ever heard.

  • Amazing stuff...and all L I V E!!!!!

  • All live except the Zombies, who are lip synching and Manfred Mann, which is just Paul Jones singing live over a track - although it sounds like the mic in front of the Blossoms is live also.

  • Cool man!

  • lindooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    sssssssssssssssssso sweet!!!!
