Jennifer is Shashi Kapoor's wife, and karan is there son. They also have a daughter named Sanjana.

Samaira is Karishma Kapoor's daughter but the photo in the video is NOT her. People have made that mistake before That is not her photo.

Shahid Kapoor is not related to the Kapoor family. He is my uncle's friend Pankaj Kapoor's son. If he was related to the Kapoor family that would b very very disturbing becuz he dated Kareena :P

I heard that one of Raj Kapoor's sister married a Pakistani. Like all the beautiful Kapoor women, their daughter Salma Agha is very attractive and a good singer too. After all they all came from Peshawar where their old house is Badha Bher, a few miles north of Peshawar. They may not be muslims but they are pukhtuns all right. Not all pukhtuns became muslim. They have that pathan blood running in them. They are my race and I am proud of them. Thanks for sharing this illustrious family.

ill think you'll find that theyre actually Punjabi Pathans or something like that. Kapoor is a very popular Punjabi name, its found all over the Punjab. God you Pathans are almost as proud as us Punjabis!

@drivelikejunio Well, you are right. There are a lot of Punjabi Pathans and the Kapoor family may be one of them. Actually these Kapoors migrated from Kandahar(afghanistan) and settled in the former NWFP. I have cousins who lived near them in Badhaber. THey used to exchange cooked food. Nobody cared if they were Muslims or not. Politicians exploited that. In the eyes of God ALL human-beings are equal.

I find that quite strange that you are looking deeply into the background of the family and assuming that they are from Afghanistan. In reality they are just like the rest of the sikhs and hindus of the Punjab who have a varied heritage which has been the consequence of invasions from the middle east and central Asia. Raj was born in NWFP but his father was from the Punjab (although NWFP was part of the P before the British annexed it) Trust me im studying history at university.

@drivelikejunio Perhaps you are right. I was told that the Kapoors ancestors came from Qandahar. I always liked Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor and his father Prithvi Raj. I am not obsessed by them but I liked them. Dilip Kumar is my favorite. I did visit his mohalla in Peshawar. Interestingly the new Khans in Mombai have a home not far from Dilip Kumar's old home. I love them all. Good luck to them.

From what I know, Prithiviraj Kapoor and Surinder Kapoor are cousins in relation.

If I'm not wrong, Surinder Kapoor (Boney and Anil Kapoor's dad) and his family stayed at Raj Kapoor's house when he started work in movies.
