Besides the fact that Ron Paul was right then and is still right now, the underlying idea here is what truly makes Ron Paul a top politician: consistency. As long as you stick to what you say you'll be the best politician out there. Paul has a set of moral values that I happen to agree with, but the fac tthat he consistently applies this set to everything he does is why nobody can outright hate Ron Paul the politician. Hate on his policies all you want, but at least he's never strayed from them.
