The NFL's ticket sales have gone down slightly for a year or so but, that's both the economy and especially the fact that people are deciding that they can sit in their own homes and relax, enjoy games, eat food, and get a better view! The increasing clarity of Television these days is making the home-game experience that much better. So yes, ticket sales have declined but, viewers? No way.

TK is a funny guy and I agree that for some reason, TK just never appeared comfortable on MNF. I guess that he had to hold back his off the cuff comments because it's national TV and people would be upset. Guys like Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth are not what you would call "analyst material" They are right behind Tony Kornheiser as the worst football analysts. However with Simms and Collinsworth, I can't hold that much against him because they played pro football on offense and they got hit around a lot so its not really their fault if they don't know where they are most of the time.

As for the football being too expensive, yes the equipment is expensive. Soccer teams in Europe spend a lot more money on their player salaries than football teams. Some soccer players are worth 100 Euros, this only includes the transfer fee and not the players actual salary. Peyton Manning's contract is about 100million, Kaka's transfer fee alone is more than 100 Euros. Why can't the US with all its athletes have a competitive soccer team that ranks with European or South American teams??
the reason America isn't good at soccer is because its the 6th or 7th most liked sport in America behind football, basketball, baseball, hockey, nascar, golf, and maybe even, track and field, were not good at rugby either but thats because we dont like it very much, as for the money paid, yes europe has tons of leagues and teams dedicated to soccer but we have 32 teams in baseball, 32 in football, 28 in basketball, tiger woods is the wealthiest athlete in the world, their salaries get diluted

In soccer players do not have as much physical contact as they do in football, thus there is a higher chance that two football players actually hold hands or any other part of their "masculine" bodies. There are no time outs in soccer to wait for plays from the coach like there is in football. Football players learn the plays in practice (muscle memory), they play on instinct. Soccer is a lot more complex than it seems. Since when are all European countries third world countries?????? I believe the Euro is valued higher than dollar. Since the Americas were colonized by European countries in which soccer was played, it would only make sense for soccer to come along as well.

I like Miller but didnt care for him on MNF. Limbaugh was great when he starred on sunday pre-game. Rush has his haters, but brought very relevant and insightful analysis. Too bad its who you know and who you blow. Olbermann is still around despite the "roscoe's chicken and waffles" statement that would have sealed Limbaugh's television coffin if he made it. Rush's comment about McNabb was accurate and far from racist.
Kornheiser was always an awkward fit on M.N.F. I think sometimes there was some genuine tension between him and the other hosts. Particularly withTerrico.

As for the football being too expensive, yes the equipment is expensive. Soccer teams in Europe spend a lot more money on their player salaries than football teams. Some soccer players are worth 100 Euros, this only includes the transfer fee and not the players actual salary. Peyton Manning's contract is about 100million, Kaka's transfer fee alone is more than 100 Euros. Why can't the US with all its athletes have a competitive soccer team that ranks with European or South American teams??

the reason America isn't good at soccer is because its the 6th or 7th most liked sport in America behind football, basketball, baseball, hockey, nascar, golf, and maybe even, track and field, were not good at rugby either but thats because we dont like it very much, as for the money paid, yes europe has tons of leagues and teams dedicated to soccer but we have 32 teams in baseball, 32 in football, 28 in basketball, tiger woods is the wealthiest athlete in the world, their salaries get diluted

Now as for the holding hands part, I do believe the quarterback puts his hands on the center's ass to get the ball?? In soccer players do not have as much physical contact as they do in football, thus there is a higher chance that two football players actually hold hands or any other part of their "masculine" bodies. Oh and there is almost no ass slapping either. If people getting killed make a sport/game cool then I suggest people start playing Russian Roulette.

There are no time outs in soccer to wait for plays from the coach like there is in football. Football players learn the plays in practice (muscle memory), they play on instinct. Soccer is a lot more complex than it seems. Since when are all European countries third world countries?????? I believe the Euro is valued higher than dollar. Since the Americas were colonized by European countries in which soccer was played, it would only make sense for soccer to come along as well.

Phil Simms is a great broadcaster!!!! He is better than Boomer and Gruden and Kornheiser. I think Mike Tirico was the best on MNF last year he was low key but he was knowledgeable and he never talked out of his ass.

I like Miller but didnt care for him on MNF. Limbaugh was great when he starred on sunday pre-game. Rush has his haters, but brought very relevant and insightful analysis. Too bad its who you know and who you blow. Olbermann is still around despite the "roscoe's chicken and waffles" statement that would have sealed Limbaugh's television coffin if he made it. Rush's comment about McNabb was accurate and far from racist.
