We do not have 'to adapt people coming in'. Nobody has to adapt anyone. I'd be interested to hear what your definition of 'integration' is - sounds like you mean homogenisation...
Positive discrimination is a tricky one alright... I think there might be a case for it sometimes though. As an employer, one might feel that one wouldn't ever discriminate on the grounds of ethnicity - but how do you know for sure that you're not doing that? If, for example, your entire company is made up of people from a similar ethnic group and background and they're the ones doing the interviewing...
