  • @indignant... Your the idiot indignant... the United States actually has the largest government held gold store in the world... held by the US Treasury.. and not the Federal Reserve. There is a difference between the two departments. One is constitutional... the other is not. While it is not currently backking the Federal Reserve Dollar... it could back currency printed by the US Treasury. Simply assuming the US has no gold or 'couldn't back' the currency issued by the Treasury is feeble minded.

  • because some idiots believe his Berrmuda's bank MFGlobal would tell him their masters are wall street ??

    some are really ridiculously stupid

  • Good Gerald, Youre nothing but a promoter. Crash 2010? Now Crash around Christmas 2011? This guy talks in circles

  • hes a liar?!

  • He didn't know that the "white shoe boys" owned it. I mean who really reads the fine print anyway and it might not have even been in the fine print.

  • What is he doing with money in Wall street ?

  • smh!

  • yeah man, so TRUE!!!!

  • famous quote: When Gerald loses everything , he has nothing else to lose, he loses it.

  • @GVFX ROFLMAO

  • @GVFX bro best thing

  • So many people out think themselves. Buy physical gold and silver on the dips and hold. How simple is that?

  • It's simple. BUY PHYSICAL GOLD. BUY PHYSICAL SILVER. DO NOT WAIT. TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT OF THE BANKS.

  • Im more surprized that he actually spoke out about it.

People don't often like somebody who's promoting one thing to everybody but whos doing something very diffrently behind the screens for himself.

Like somebody promoting a candidate for an election but then votes on the opponent, as long as your not aware it's fine only once your aware you never really know what to think about that person again.

  • AARRGG MATIE!! the point on a tri-corner hat goes in the front ya scurrrvy dog!

  • Well big players like Celente, who have very deep pockets, usually have several accounts, some of which are just used for trading. Some people like to gamble in Vegas, some people like to gamble in the commodities markets. This loss he took is a drop in the bucket for him and won't effect his core position in physical gold and silver. Good video!

  • Wow. I would've never seen this coming from Celente of all people.

  • ha ha Gerald got taken by the "white shoe boys" he's always preaching against, gotta love when hypocrisy shows it's face!

  • shocking ! ; mega more shocking if you had MFG pm's account !

better keeping physical pm's under your bed like I do, lol

    " the poormans way "

  • i love the ending.. i gues its 99.999

  • You continue to make a lot of sense with excellent insight.

And you got a cool lady friend that you've been hanging with. :-)

  • EXCELLENT video. You made your point beautifully without ever saying a word. One of the alternative gurus -- maybe even G.C. -- says be your own banker. That means hold your own wealth. By the way, how about doing a brief video on how your chickens fit into your self-sufficiency plan. Eggs? Meat? Barter? Would love to hear about it. And how do you care for the chickens in winter? I assume you live in the northeast.

  • this does not undermine his message whatsoever. if anything it reinforces it.

  • dont be too hard on Gerald. He fessed up. As most like-minded investors, he probably has his CORE positions in gold and silver and has 10 or 20% of play money that he wont cry over if he loses.

Maybe that MF holding was in gld/silver related assets. we dont know. Kudos.

This only reinforces what him and others say: have a core holding in physical. If you cant touch it, you dont own it.

Usually we hope to learn from our own mistakes. Rich is the man that learns from the mistakes of others!

  • @indignant... Of course its no longer backed by gold directly.. at least since 1971 when Nixon took us off the gold standard.. but you did not answer how fiat is not backed by law (it is) by definition 'FIAT' and its also backed by the Military... I do believe the Military could spewe your comments right back 'easily'. My point is that as long as we have fiat.. we are forced to trade it. It certainly is not ideal.

  • nice job i like how you called out bob chapman for some of his fibs also.

  • This is good stuff!! keep up the great work man!

  • Best Video Iv seen you do.. really interesting that hes making deals with the same "white shoe boys" he criticizes on RT and all the little radio shows he does.

I also have a big problem with the fact he said that Americans were a bunch of wimps and that we were essentially too lazy to protest and then when Occupy Wall Steet starts up he acts like he knew it all along. I stopped my subscription to his videos for this reason.

  • Trust NOBODY

  • The white-shoe boys took him to shinetown. Those shine-boys double-buffed GC. They put a spit-shine on those paper assets. They gave that account the brush and polish. Florsheim City. Johnny C. said " give 'im the laces".

  • Not that I care, but he may have had only a small amount of his investments in the paper game. If you want to play the ups and does a bit than a little bit of fun money in paper wouldn't be that big of a deal. Good video SF regardless, thanks for the eye opener.

  • To me, anybody who gets mainstream media appearances is a possible double agent who's there to misguide people.

Have you ever thought that Max Keiser is a possible agent who wants to cause revolutions?

  • @ninjaguy123 I think there are more opportunists than agents.

  • did you just realize this? hes been right on most of his predictions, but he also said that he was 50 percent into euros and 50 percent swiss francs, now hes into gold etc, so thats an inconsistancy, however the rest of the stuff hes pretty much dead on, again interpert things within reason.

  • i don't see what's wrong with playing the paper game as long as its a small proportion of your net assets.

what most gold bugs do is play the paper game and roll their profits into the purchase of more physical metals.

  • whom to truss these days?

  • BANKSTER PIRATE!!!!! HAHAHA LOVE IT!

  • Have you checked out Rickard's new book Currency Wars yet? He's been doing some great interviews about it lately.

  • Hey, to do the pirate thing correctly you got to at least wear an eye patch and show pieces of eight ya know, arrrrgg. Nice clip though , at least we all can see what can happen to the rest of us.

  • There are many ways to deal in Gold. Like a lot of people Gerald Celente went down the paper route as well as i suspect owning "physical" gold. Like many of those who own Gold and stocks a diverse "port Folio" is he norm. To hedge because you do not keep all your eggs in one basket.. However as Mr Celente points out, he had no idea that his Gold Trading account had anything to do with a Hedge Fund (and a particularly bad Hedge Fund at that). The tenticles of "The White Shoe Boys" spread wide.

  • So , Gerald , what is your true allocation? Precious metals and currency and/or dabbling in the futures markets side by side with the white shoe boys. You know the same ones you despise so much. I'll take everything you say with a grain of salt when listening to you from now on.

  • Excellent point about the fine print on a silver coin. It describes how fine your investment really is, not how someone can steal it from you.

  • lol i love silverfuturist

  • @twistedbydsign99 Thanks! Your comment is a big reason why I make videos!

  • WHaaa? hahahahahahaha welcome to the carnival!!!!

  • at one point he was mostly Euro.. then it tanked and all of a sudden he was zero Euro. As to futures, I used them (at MF global) to zero out risk on stocks. Instead of having to liquidate stocks or buy short etfs, I simply sold an ES contract. Futures is risky, supposedly (falsely) having a futures account is not! This is what too much leverage does when it blows up.. Savings get destroyed.. In this case across balance sheets. This could have happend at Fidelity Black Rock, JPM

  • Celente might as well stick his head in a Paper Bag.

Well, at least he admitted his own hipocracy.

    What a teaching moment.

Is there a spell check on You Tube ?

  • @prepper1024 I don't require a spell check if you friendly and identify that you don't know how to spell a word.

  • @prepper1024 hypocrisy. ;-)

  • If you go back and listen to past interviews, Celente said he was in PHYSICAL gold. He never said he owned paper. Hmmm....

  • Celente didnt get the topic yet.

He is still a paper bug.

I hope, Celente STOPS commenting on the metal markets for which he lacks sufficient qualification.

  • Like Joe says...the only guru you follow diligently...is the one in the mirror. Gerald getting caught with his pants down? No shock. Not really. Sometimes...its the best swimmers that drown. A lesson for us to take into the future. And I know what fine print I will be reading...the print on the silver in my hand.

  • LMAOOOOO!!!

I read the fine print on that one, too!!!

  • He dun goofed

  • Fine print = "999 FINE SILVER". I think I'll be okay with my investment!

  • "Well ... I read the fine print on this one!"

No truer words said! Just goes to prove that if you don't hold it (in your hand) you don't own it.

    :)

  • current events form future trends, celente didnt see this coming? not much of a forecaster...

  • good find

  • Sounds like Celente was still in the Casino with the Gambinos ....

  • Gerald was taking his last dance on the sinking titanic, thinking he could get into the life boat in time before anyone else

  • As Peter Schiff said you could wake up one day and find yourself broke. Traders are taking a big risk

  • Why'd you put on a suit jacket for the pirate imitation?

Lind Waldock was bought by MF Global just a few months ago.

  • looks like celente was hedging against real assets & got effed. irojnic. very.

  • Shame on you Gerald you fell for the paper ponzi scam and you got burned. Physical PM ONLY, don't trust banks Guns & Ammo are your best security.

  • and then banks wonder why everyone is withdrawing everything..

  • He should have had a ton of silver eagles in his basement instead.

  • That might have been business corporate investments not his personal investments....JAZ

  • even schiff slipped and said he has alot of money with bofa, then he back peddaled and gave some excuse. your right u never know.

  • You're crazy silvefuturist that's what i learned. ..but point taken.

  • Too bad he couldn't predict this trend in his portfolio. Sometimes you're caught on predicting events for others, you forget about yourself... no good.

  • Gerald. You should have known better.

  • To think Gerald Celente had the the nerve to do a recent interview with James Turk of Goldmoney. What planet do these people live on? Play with fire, expect to get burnt.

  • silver and groceries thats all I believe in

  • a high percentage figure allocation can be quite misleading as well. if somebody says that they're 90% into something, whatever it may be, 90% of how much? .... $100 dollars?

  • So did I.

  • PHYSICAL GOLD AND SILVER. IF IT'S NOT IN YOUR HAND YOU DON'T OWN IT.

Celente ... you already called them the Gambinos. You should have KNOWN

  • @ytgv3fc7 Thanks for the amazing advice. Do you do life coaching too?

  • @ryanswan0 as a matter of fact I have but always in conjunction with another goal.

  • Celente has and will always be full of shit...

  • He is NOT obliged to disclose 100% of what he does .... he just gave the gist.

  • I like Gerald, but he should have "trendcasted" something was up since Lind Waldock had the name change a few months ago...also he really needs to lost the Felix Ungar scarf.

  • Thank you for reminding everyone why physical is the only safe play! Forget the haters stack the metal!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I like Jackieo but i like your videos more when she isnt a part of them.

  • Even I knew that Lind Waldock was gobbled up by MF Global and I have never dealt with either of them. Sounds like Gerald Celente is pretty poor at due diligence.

  • And the geeks shall inherit the earth...

  • wHEN did you made that interview with Chris Marterson ?

  • That's what u get 4 trading paper .

  • Allocated Storage means 10,000 people own the same piece of Gold/Silver.

This is a bigger scam than Fractional Reserve Banking, it should be called Fractional Reserve Metals.

  • Comment removed

  • I think I learned to hold physical.

  • Comment removed

  • Kicked again by the WhiteShoe Boys.

  • ALL BANK LOANS

  • Words ain't worth reading. If the judge refuses to enforce contracts (all bank loans) then there ain't any point in reading any print.

  • Now he finally has something new to talk about. That guy has the same talking points for 8 years.

  • is surprising that celente would be caught this way... yes mattresses are best i think... i guess his mattress would have to be very large... :-)

  • Celente has repeatably said he is 100% in precious metals. He lies too just like the rest of them.

  • He should be a wealthy person and having small % in paper would be very normal. I dont see any problem with that. If I am 5% in paper and 95% in silver am I 5 % paper bug ?

  • @Alexiscom1 ...you're only a paper bug if you like the idea of fiat currency.

  • 1:01 - 1:17 rooster stare down. ( -)> <(- )

  • As GC would say "It's them white shoe boys!"

  • Cash is insured via SIPC so eventually amounts under like $100,000 cash positions are insured by the government. (assuming it was cash). If it's in a MF Global fund that is likely another story and what the auditors are figuring out now....(it's all frozen so they can conduct a financial forensic examination. Celente said he just had cash in the account. My guess is he will eventually get a check from SIPC.

  • Lind-waldock is crippled likely fatal given they used a lot of products available via MF Global. As many client accounts like Celentes are frozen until the auditors can find Waldo.... It assuredly is 'not good' at Waldock.

  • hahahahahahahahaha Gerald 'Clown' Celente

  • Wow. If that is true I wonder how much he will lose on that. Is Lind Waldoch out of business too?

  • yeah! i can't believe Celente would buy paper gold/or silver?? Hasn't he preached the cause of buying physical?? Oh wait,i'm thinkin of Max Kaiser,Doh! I don't care to here him whine when he knows better! I'd take a truckload of physical anyday. The only way you lose it is if someone "physically" takes it from you,or you decide to sell it.

  • Intrinsic value stored where you can immediately put your hands on it!

  • i love it, seem he is a hyprocrite

  • IF YOU CAN"T HOLD IT, YOU DON"T OWN IT. That simple.

  • its called risk taking he is trying to profit and get out at the right time but as usual lessons will be learnt the hard way the paper market is just that not worth the paper it not printed on lol thanks joe

  • More proof Celente is a fucking idiot. He predicts everything, but couldnt see this coming? pleeease!

  • Physical silver is the way to go.

  • Great vid Joe. This is all new to me. I never knew Celente was a paper pusher. I told you to be careful with all these guys.

  • Way to call out the scamers. It seems as though every one lies, bankers, politicians, lawyers you name it. Do your home work people. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtian" to quote the great and powerful OZ

    something wicked this way comes.

  • I would have thought Gerald Celente would have known better.

PS: The wench in me Loves the pirate outfit :)

  • @SilverLadyBug999 Silver wench! In a positve way of course :)

  • @SilverLadyBug999

    hehehehehe

  • MF BLOW ALL was run by ex Goldman exec...you play with snakes you get bit. ...he should have known better...all he had to do is go to Muckety maps and he could have seen all the players involved and where they came from...its his fault

  • HE GOT SOLD OUT!

  • Real men admit and learn from their mistakes.

  • "ok so, 'arrg'" lol

  • @atksingh Roosevelt dimes are your absolute best bet...because, dimes you can get at around melt price, and typically Roosevelts are in great condition. AND...the chinese have NOT faked them, unlike all other silver coins. I actually just bought 600 of them for $2.55 each this morning. I buy all the dimes I can afford. I do have 999 Fine, but I buy from big dealers, like Gainsville Coins or Apmex. I only buy Eagles, Maples, Wildlife series, Engelhard, Pandas, Kookaburras etc.

  • Buy physical Celente you idiot

  • @sljs1010 The paper profits are just that ...paper. GET A CLUE> LEARN A LESSON< I DID

  • WOW!

  • @atksingh Junk because small demoninations. For bigger investors, get mint cases (monster boxes) or somehting similar.

  • Yeah, I think it's odd that so many people talking about this corrupt system would have their money in entities like MF Global. I also thought it was odd for a trends researcher not to know who had access to his money.

  • @DEMCAD I also have some stocks and I do not have a clue who owns my broker. I assume that they do not touch my assets, but what MF global CEO did is a new low.

  • Gerald Celente is going to be thrown under the bus, with this information. His word is not as golden, when he talks about owning the metals and not playing the paper market, cuz it's rigged.

  • Looks like that investment "wasn't worth the paper it wasn't printed on"

  • @TheBullionBoy that's some funny shit LOL

  • I think Celente talks shit sometimes. I like him. But, I trust no one....

  • When he gives us a breakdown of where his money is, he never gave us a percent for MF Global.

  • Canadian Nickels!

  • @George. Just throw in an occasional 1 oz pure nickel bar and they won't be able to assay that they were formerly nickels.

  • Ya gotta scam to draw big time attention to yourself, GC is no different from anyone else. He is closer to the truth than most, but no one (as you, SF, so often warn) should let him do their thinking for them. GC is a helluva self promoter, nice catch SF...er, I mean Mr. Pirate.

  • I like the way you- SF are able and willing to question most anything and anyone.

  • I remember Celente a couple of years ago talking about how he had a small speculation position because he liked to gamble.

  • Did Gerald Celente say WHEN this happened? (Being eff'd by MF Global) Could this have happened long ago? A lesson he learned before his current position?

    Thanks,

  • Silverfuturist.. Thanks,i belive in the near future nickels will trade at multiples of face, they already cost 9 cents to make, and are worth 7. A local coin store in ks ,buys pre 82 pennys at 2x face

  • WHAT HAPPENED TO JIM COMISKEY?!?!?

And how did Gerald not know MF Global was owned by LindWaldok.

I have never traded paper and even I knew that?

    IAMSLATTERY

  • @atksingh I'd recommend junk silver because they are still widely recognized yet have a low spot price compared to bars, rounds, eagles or maples.

  • I'm guessing that was his gambling money. And that he kept his savings in gold / silver but had some mad money in an account that could be used to ride the waves in the futures market (he is a trends forecaster).

  • I love how you degenerate morons think Gerald cant handle this little mishap. He's no fool and will still come out 10 times better than most of you.

  • well he is probably very diversified .....he has his eggs in more than one basket ...

  • Are all nickels good to save, or only before a certain year?

  • @ndrthrdr1 all nickels are worth saving for the copper content, but 1942-45 are 35% silver =P

  • His problem wasn't in trusting the futures market, it was in trusting the wrong futures broker.

  • @rayomans exactly.

  • Oh and MF Global=ex Gov Corzine= MotherF@#ker Global to G. Celente.

  • BYW Celente is FOS even I knew Lind Plus was where Jim Cominsky first started vloging in the same office that turned into MF global....the people who keep talking about the sheeple are the one's who rely on the new and improved sheeple to buy their sheeple goods.

  • Gerald Celente should have listened to his own advice. People screw up like that all the time. More emphasis on what is going on. The whole paper system is Poni scheme. Hold paper at your own risk.

  • @davinci.... Bit coin.... Interesting model for sure but who is printing the bit coins? While likely run by good people now... Highly susceptible to bit coin manipulation. Your going to sell your gold bar for a digital money? Unless the bit coins are backed by assets that system is actually less solvent than the US Dollar. The dollar is at least backed by some gold in Fort Knox! (assuming it exists in Fort Knox).... that and rule of law. What law or assets back bit coins?

  • @clarkbaker The dollar is NOT backed by any Ft. Knox gold, nor other gold, nor ANYTHING else. How did you talk yourself into the fiction you just spewed?

  • 2:20 "i'm just a little confuuuuuused here" ....nice!

  • Comment removed

  • You guys are a little harsh on Celente? Everyone that is ripping on him has never written a check or used a financial institution? Until they all fail we all have risk at these institutions. The goal, as it should always be, is to do due diligence yourself and figure out the best places to put your fiat cash in the best one. Odds are a cash position is insured by the SPIC... They are likely trying to figure out how much was lost.

  • GC is full of crap, what have you ever learned from him that wasnt already known. Just another talking head who happens to be negative on a few things but with no insight

  • seolfor [] n (seolfres/-) silver

  • point well made, I posted this one at sgtreport.

  • @SGTbull07 thanks SGT - its all about the physical, keep up the good work with that message.

  • I meant FUN WITH DICK AND JANE!

  • Gerald Celente investing with the white show boys. What's next? Photos of him eating at Pizza Hut! Let me repeat the lesson here for all of us: if you can't touch it, you don't own it!

  • Even though Mr Celente was calling me something along the lines of a delusional psychopath I can't think of any reason to berate him for not putting all of his money into one investment place in times like these because what were experiencing is a systematic destruction of wealth & no one is safe.

He was wise to spread is savings around
