  • MLB flaks cost 170. Custom flaks cost 170. Could've just just made that color pattern instead of getting the yankees.

  • CUBS!! HAHAHA! WERE YOU ALIVE IN 1908? HAH!

  • if there is a yankee symbol etched onto the lens you at least know the lens are real. oakley is the only ones that do that. And for the frame itself if you take the ear socket part off, you can see white on the frame where the glasses are held onto while being painted. if it has that under both sides of the ear sockets then they are real

  • pretty sure theyre real

  • I have the same pair of Oakleys and yours look exactly the same and I got mine off Oakley.com so I have to say that I think they are real man

  • My flak jackets have a different ear piece symbol on it, but maybe it's just mine. They look real. If they're fake, they're definitely a good fake.

  • Comment removed

  • If your'e not sure, go to your local Oakley store. They'll be more than happy to help you confirm if they're real or not.

  • case looked real

  • They are real, at least they look real, not sure why Ebay took a month... anyways, put them back on ebay if you hate them... people will buy them, those glasses are more for golf and not extreme sports...

  • They are real

  • Hey. The arm piece is supossed to come off incase somebody sits on them or something of that nature. For the paint and the lens, I think you just had some bad luck. You said you ride a bike so I would recommend Oakley Radars or Oakley Jawbones. Hope this helps.

  • Shop Oakley for best prices at shopoakleys(.)blogspot(.)com

  • can you say FLAMER?

  • Hillarious video, thanks. Didn't really help with my flak jacket question, but shirt off was definately a good idea and decided to one up and go the full monty. Thanks for the support, always had problems getting naked in my own room lol.

  • there def real

  • good video. wasn't bad at all. i actually kind of enjoyed watching it (no homo) but come on. put a damn shirt on.

  • FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea those are fake but nice video and go cubbys!!!!!!

  • I was look for reviews of this particular model, but funny thing is that the first thing came to my mind was not about the glasses when I watch this video. I was like, are you gay??? Come on, put your shirt on... -_-

  • Comment removed

  • @vascularcylinder why are you so obsessed more with his body than the glasses? perhaps you are the gay one. not that there's anything wrong with that.

  • @bournebutler

No.... I'm obsessed with your body... *shy*

  • Those look DAMN good. i just ordered the full black one, cuz im a soon to be cop.

  • They look real, but Luxottica (Oakley's parent company and distributor) sells the defectives to wholesalers who primarily sell on eBay. It's a bit of a crapshoot as far as what is wrong with them. Sometimes its a minor cosmetic issue, sometimes the whole frame is crooked, which causes a lot of problems. I wouldn't recommend buying on eBay unless you're willing to take that chance.

  • real

  • They r real. It has all the stuff flak jackets come with.

  • Nice but fake the frame is soposed to be a lot more durable and when u said that the lens got scratched from a 2 foot drop?!?! Yeah I have oakley's and drop em all the time and they don't get scratched up (the frame does but not the lens). If you want to find out if there real or not do the water test. Pour drops of water onto the lens if the water falls off easily then there real if it sticks to the lens then there fake.

  • @blakethegreat21 Would like to know where you bought, got, or (Don't really have lol) your UNSCRATCHABLE lenses at. Don't think the lenses ever had a chance of hitting the ground before your head did. Funny, don't have any problems with my Oakleys falling off my face. So don't know if it is your butter fingers or your greasy ass face, but either way i wouldn't go announcing that i drop my expensive glasses all the time.

  • ok their cool but fake sry to say look at my channel an u can buy mine m frames for 125

  • fake. the paint wont come off oakley frames as the plastic is molded in the color that the glasses are, they arent painted. also, those sound horrible, mine dont sound like that at all. counterfeiters can easily copy the letters and numbers on sunglasses and they can make them for like 3-5$ and sell them for 100-200$ or more....theres plenty of motivation to counterfeit sunglasses that are in high demand. also, baseball fans are usually retarded so they are an easy target for scams! JK....

  • Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears FTW!!

  • they are probably fake. do they have screws? if they do they are fake

  • under the ear sock that says ''MADE IN U.S.A'' should say ''MADE IN U.S.A" in all caps

  • ok...

well being that they are mlb series is a good sign. u said they fell and the ear piece broke off? well when I was training for a triathelon my oakleys fell off my face and the ear piece snaped as well, that and the interchangable lenses will make the squeak.

they didn't have any big signs of being fake

and the case was an authentic oakley case.

    get the hing replaced...

  • For your next video, wear your speedos and show us what you look like in them

  • those oakley's are fake.

  • Well there's your first problem. They were new, and there's your second problem "New". Only buy used oakley sunglasses then replace the lenses. The ear sock comes off and they're interchangable. "jet plane" - no. They sound fake when you open them.

These things are what make oakley's fake.

-If there are stickers on the lenses. oakley never does that.

-If the "O" is "chrome sticker over plastic that's bad

-If you google the serial number and nothing shows up, thats bad.

  • my videos suck

  • fake did u hear the squeak

  • fake bc they are sqeeking and stuff and i have the same ones but i got mine from oakley.com so i know mine are real and mine dont sqeek and dont have that color o by the ear stocks

  • hey bro, I would recommend just going to an oakley store or a sunglass hut to verify the serial number on your flaks. That would be the easiest way to figure out if they are real or not. I just oredered a pair on ebay...no lense, just the frame...and as soon as I get them I am heading to the store to check them out...good luck bro

  • mine dont creak but i have jawbones

  • There are reviews on the Oakley website that mention the creak. Mine do it too and the creak is in the removable lenses.

  • The way you can tell if there real or not is if it says okley that means it's fake bc it does not have an a in it . So if it says Oakley it's real . I have the same kind but there all black and they cost $180.

  • was the yankees symbol etched into the lense?

  • there totally fake you should report the people who sold them to you on Oakley.com and report them on eBay.com for giving you a fake product and get your money back because there a piece of shit

  • ooooooooooooooooohhhhhh........... thats cool (in his head (ahhh i have no clue what im doing))

  • I bought Oakleys because I got tired of buying cheap sunglasses that broke all the time. Totally worth it. My Oakleys creak too, and I got them from Oakley's website. I think it's just because the O-matter shrinks and expands.

  • I have an Oakley livestrong flak, I bought it for about $150. Maybe the reason why I got here is because i'm skeptic with the authenticity of my Oakley. lol!

  • They are actually real, on the flak jacket the one marks around the ear go all the way around the piece and if you look at fake flak jackets they only go halfway around, the creaking noise is actually normal they do creak a little when you first get the and for a few months to a year or sometimes might not go away.. they are deffinatley real but they could have been damaged during packing or shipping..

  • im sitting in my room with my shirt off when im watching this, respect

  • fake cuz they say oakley on the front

  • Im a royals fan, but i love the cubs because they play the cardinals!

  • fake i can tell by the noise when they first opened up... lol

  • i got mine from oakley.com and they did that so it may not mean anything

  • sorry man, i think they're fake cuz all of the mlb oakleys have the team logo etched on the lens

  • go hawksss !!!!!!!!!!!!! but put on a f in shirt

  • haha u dont win triathlons cuz of the sunglasses

  • those are real oakley flak jackets they are made do that so you can chan out the earpieces and rubber things on it

  • good job your a cubs fan

  • Queer.

  • do they have removable nose peice, if so then they are real and my oakley half jackets that i bought in an oakley store, there hinges fell of also

  • @bdogsfootball24 no i got a pair of fakes that have a removable nose haha. u have to make sure they have like spring loaded arms and tacky rubber on them and etche in stuff on the lens and arnt really light

  • do they have removable nose peice, if so then they are real

  • I have genuine oakleys and I'm worried 24/7 about if I'm gonna drop them. But you could buy replacement lenses

  • Shark dude or what ever that was a thin spike his fell on CEMENT WIDER SURFACE AREA

  • hey dude they are not fake i looked at alot of real oakley flak jacket xlj reviewa and the ear peice is supposed to do that it can snap on and snap back on thats how it was designed and the scratch is your fault because they really easy scratch not really if you take care of them i have the same pare of oakleys mlb eddition but there for the san fransisco giants so yours is not fake and mine arnt fake i baught mine at a oakley store but if your so woried next time buy them from the oakley websit

  • yea sorry to tell you. but you have a fake pair of oakleys. because it one video the dropped a steel spike from six feet and all there was left was a small dent

  • there not real sorry to say because i have so flak jackets black and red and i droped them and i ran over them with my bike and nuthin happend not even a scrach

  • Their probably fake if they scratch that easy, i laughed when u told off thats runescape guy xD lmao

  • cunt

  • real.

  • If you want to find out further take out the lense PUT IT I THE MICROFIBER

BAG and hit it with a book if it's fine it's real but hit it from the mirrored side not inside

  • ya there fake

  • @mentalRCburnouts all genuine oakleys are made in the USA

  • @copepatrol your Oakley flak jackets are real 130$ is only 20 of from retail so that just means. You got a steal oakleys can't handle being run over by a plane even the c six couldn't and oakleys scratch reaaallllyyyy easy if you want scratch resistance get glass but you give up scratch resistance for impact so because of that I wouldn't recommend putting them in your pockett

  • fag

  • Comment removed

  • @ramibadreddine hahah this from the guy who has runescape videos in his favorites! laughable!!

  • @Copepatrol Yeah, cause that obviously proves anything.

  • @ramibadreddine true dat

  • and try to smash it with your fist. If they dont break, then they are real

  • They will scratch and the arms are supposed to come out so they dont suffer any structural damage anyway, if you want to put your money where your mouth is, pop out one lense, put it on a flat surface with a peice of paper over it,a

  • Cubs suck bro

  • if you don't want to have to worry if they're real or not, BUY FROM OAKLEY.COM!!!

  • yeah they are real

  • not all oakley's have the serial number on the left hand. Gascans have it on the right close to the end of the arm....

and not to make you feel better about buying fake oakley's but the original ones scratch somewhat easily as well BUT the small scratches are not noticeable at all when being worn.... the ones made of 'irodium" (i think that's it) scratch the easiest as far as i know lol

  • Mtrx09 you can get a nice pair in mexico

  • is their a yankees logo on the lower botoom thier real.

  • Cubs!!!!

  • @Doinyourmom100 lol they can make fake anything. and you didnt get a new, real pair for 54. srry =)

  • were you high when you made this vid?

  • Well flak jacket is dsinged to out perform any other safety glasses soif u want to know if u got real 1's like i have...Take the lens out and smack it wih a book..if it is still in one piece its real!

  • eeeeeeewwwwwwaaaaaaa thats cool, luls

  • You're a fricken genius. I <3 you. and this video. and your shoulders.

  • arms are design to popout

  • they look real. look on the right ear sock and if it says "made in usa" there real. and the stems "sides" are meant to come off on all oakleys to prevent cracking in the rest of the glasses so u dont have to get new ones. and any lenses in sunglasses will scratch when dropped. lol

  • @cam21fr my fakes say made in usa tho too

  • @spartansfan5 yeah but you can tell these are real. i have 13 pairs of oaks. id know. lol

  • Yeah, yours are real man. That's a feature of the Flak Jacket/Half jacket. The stems(what fell off of yours) are meant to do that so that when you step on them, it won't break

  • hey nice vid, I don't konw if they are real or not, compare them to a real store like sport challet, or any sport store. you can just ask to see the sunglasses and they will help you and pay attention the the small details. I can tell you that you can buy oakleys for 18 dollars and they look real.

if any questions let me know.

  • @rogeromc23 Where can you get Oakleys for $18??

  • not hating bro... preety good video, but why did you not have a shirt on?

  • Comment removed

  • @nintendowiirocks111 haha it was hot as hell, and i'm a tool

  • um my Parents bought some weird Oakley glasses in Brazil and it says made in Italy .and didn't come with any thing no box, nothing. but i stuck a flash light to them and on the right lens it says OKEY . can some tell me if their real or not

  • they can withstand a lot of stuff dont mean if you drop them they wont get scratches just means they wont shatter. nice vid

  • Nice vid. I just got Oakley Flaks for Christmas and they're awesome. Im almost positive that yours are real. I bought mine from the oakley store and they open the same way, with the same sound and everything.

  • another idecation is they spring when the open/close (yours does) fakes dont do tht so have fun and good luck with you triathonlans

    p.s i dont spell well

  • im 100% possative yours are real mine have did the same thing i have 11 pairs(ive.got.the.oakley.obsesion) and nothingsperfect (not even oakleys) i love oakleys and your marking are 100% correc. i promiss you their real. they are very strong and the arms are made to be replaced For damages and i you wanted to change the logo) my phillies flaks are the same way(i have two sets of arms one silver logos and one with blue) please read this!!!!!!!!!!!!!you can chill their copletely real plz read!!!!!

  • I work at the oakley store in chicago and they seem real to me. Tell tale signs of fakes include a bogus "O" etching on the lens. We only etch on special editions and also on glasses that are polarized. They seem real to me though.. they're should be a model number on them too. They word "FLAK" and "Made in USA" seem legit. Also they retail at our store for $160 so they very well could be fake. Do the stems stay straight when you hold the glasses by the nose?

  • Looks real to me.

It's funny, I'm into triathlons too and I have a pair of Flaks too. When I first got mine (S$250, around 180USD) I thought it was fake too cause i got i shipped it in off another guy.

Just bring it to a store and they'll tell you. Based on your description they sound real to me. For the flak jackets, even the real lenses scratch REALLY easily, so just tough luck there. But I'm not sure about your paint falling off and stuff, sounds a bit extreme..maybe it's just the MLB ones.

  • It depends i mean ive had mine for a while, stepped on the lenses right on concrete by accident and didnt even scratch the lens. But the paint shouldnt be coming up on the frame. Yet the leg is supposed to come off, so it could be both, but like the other guy said, go to an oakley store and theyll tell you.

  • @Doinyourmom100 I got mine for $65 :)

  • @xHunterXIV used or fake?

  • @GLK2780 Neither. Brand new in box and 100% authentic. You just have to look around for the best prices.

  • @xHunterXIV lol think about, how did they make money off of selling you something at 1/3 of the original price? they didnt. no one sells stuff to lose money.

  • @GLK2780 I think I would know since I'm the one who bought them. They're real and they came brand new in the box scratch free.

  • @xHunterXIV lol anyone can make an oakley box? especially if they can make the glasses. the box is the easy part. all counterfeit comes in original looking packaging. i believe that you believe they are real, but they cant be, unless someone just lost $100 trying to be nice. If oakley sells em for what? 150? how do you make profit by reselling $150 glasses for $50? you dont. be realistic.

  • Bro, Bro, its 99% real. At :20, your serial numbering Yankees Flak should be (24-010), mine is the exact location as yours except mine isn't MLB. When you said it broke off and you put it back, that is how it supposed to be on real Oakley Flak. Look at one of you lense, it should say Yankee logo etched in in the lower right side. I've bought on eBay, check feedbacks and past history. Still not convinced, go to an Oakley store, they'll tell you exactly. Good Luck!!!!
