Too bad Mercer and his show later decided to suck up to Lord Crossdresser by having him "guest" on the show right before his sentencing with an unfunny cameo vid shot at the "poncy" one's Palm Springs pile. Mercer has lost his street cred.
I saw that segment: The "Celebrity Tip" featuring Black showing how to wax-preserve maple leaves.
Mercer and his team didn't have to shoot that. Black didn't have to cooperate. But he did, and he did. And it was perfect; Black doing something uniquely Canadian and completely out of character.
How can that be un-funny after all of that karma coming back to him?
