"Rose" by Anna Tsuchiya though for this song she is often credited as Anna "inspi'NANA" (BLAST) or something like that. anyway, the song should be easy to find. Also, give Kuroi Namida a listen too. It's another great song by the same artist for the same anime

@xxtsubasa Shin is using a black Fender Precision Bass. What I'm talking about Nobu's guitar. At twenty-five seconds he clearly has a Gibson Les Paul, but at one-minute and forty-one seconds he has a Fender Stratocaster. Just a small animation model mistake.
@AnimeSuki1473 It's called Drop-D. It seems you've never heard of down-tuning. =/ In this case the bass is tuned down a step to DGCF instead of the standard EADG. And I think they all were amazed because he basically looked at the sheet music only once for a few seconds and then played it perfectly. You are right though, in that it's quite an easy bassline, however let's see you look at some sheet music only once for a few seconds and then play without sight-reading. =|
Or DADG for my case and lots of other bassists. kind of weird at first we we get used to it quickly! and its easier when in your set you need both standard E and drop D, you can drop the 1st string in 1sec between two songs. let ring the 3rd D string then then let ring the E and drop it until both sounds the same, then you got your D ;)

People who aren't musicians don't really care. And western game music is much better, japs got nothing on jeremy soule (morrowind, kotor, many more) or Blizzard's composers (especially wotlk and diablo 2); sure, zelda and FF aren't bad, but come on; it's like comparing anime to lord of the rings
