Sorry me again with another stupid question.

I tried this myself VERY early in the game.

Literally when i mean early - i mean literally just after you meet the circus group. I thought I'd test it out as i headed towards the wind monster, i managed to get it down to just Riou being alive but it didn't work.

Have i got a bug free version or am i doing it wrong?

Nope. Other than trying to gear up your lower level character as much as possible to survive throughout the fight. At this point in the game you can't recieve a fortune rune to boost your experience.

What is that effect that happened to Jowy when he was supposed to die at the very end, with the hit from the fairy?

He got like a shell off and healed?

Is it cause she cant kill him while he's 'small' or?

nop, its not the sacrificial jizo. look well. a low level has killed high level enemies.

1) when one characters kill all the enemies receives more experience

2) when a low level character kill high level enemies receives more experience.

so, combine 1)+2) and you will have level 99 if you kill a level 50 enemy with a level 20 character. Just remember, to kill all your other party members and weaken a lot the enemy, so the weak character of yours could kill the enemy to level up fast.

Oh I totally got it now. But I think that technique would spoil the challenge of the game, don't you think?

if course, but it would be very easy. But its the only way to level , up to 62, because after 61 its very hard to level up.

It maybe a technique to , make a powerfull characters, i think. Sadly, the game doesnt have hard enemies like in FF7 (like emerald weapon or something) so its somehow useless.

The stats you gain from each level diminish severely at 60..main stat you get is HP/MP imo..definitely not necessary though like you say

Also, it's important to know that if you exploit this glitch and you get Humphrey and Futch in your party but you don't complete the Harpy quest..I believe they will be unavailable for the rest of the game.

There is a glitch you can exploit..on your way to muse to get the Amulet for Pilika you can go up to the Matilda border..and run straight up at the gate and you'll actually be able to push it open allowing you to access the Matilda area early at that point in the game.

Your castle will upgrade depending on how many SOD's(Stars of Destiny) that you have recruited..I believe you need 101+.

Yeah I just used this Glitch to recruit Humphrey and Futch, I did this right before the Mercerany Fort battle, I took Humphrey and Futch out of my party though and can't put them back in until I get the to castle it seems, fucking Merc Fort character selection list is full.

The glitch works all the time as long as you have access to the area..you gain the most benefit if you exploit it early in the game though..and as for the duel between Yuber and Pesmerga I believe it was in S1 and it was inconclusive

you need 3 conditions to make it work:

-enemy party must have 6 monsters

-only one character alive when you win the battle

-character must be level 20 or below
