hey the guy above me is right but an easier way to do it is to make sure the exposed wire is long enough and you put accross the heads side and then overlap it over the penny so its about half way over the tails side and make sure the penny is VERY shinny or new. also a good thing to do is make sure the plate is hard not like a really flimsy paper plate more like a platic or cardboard one. And one more thing, It has to have some space from the plate but not to much. Hope that helps! :)
