You made some very good points in this video bro. Also check out the video "Karen armstrong on Islam" by the youtube user "AllahsCreation". She's a religious historian and although she's not muslim herself she shows how the real message of Isalm is one of absolute tolerance and respect for others.

You are aware that hate speech IS free speech. A white supremist group has all the right to peacefully march in the streets and Fred Phelps has all the right to say that "god hates fags". What they don't have the right to do is kill anyone who disagrees with them, even when it's a simple parody on a cartoon which is exactly what Draw Muhammad Day is all about.

Capitalist countries invaded other countries to spread capitalism so they can be invaded, Communist countries invaded other countries to spread socialism so they can be invaded. And yes some Muslim leaders invaded other countries for their resources which is wrong but least they didn't enslave its people. The problem is with US Humans not the ideologies.

@KevinSolway I agree with many modern scholars who said that the death penalty was related to a certain time period, because many people turned Muslims to become spies so this punishment was made to scare them off. And I agree with them that there cannot be a death penalty for apostasy because this would contradict what the quran says.

You couldn't be more wrong. Offense has no bearing on Freedom of Speech. In fact the two go hand in hand. What I say may offend you, but what you say may offend me. Both sides must tolerate such offense by speech. You have the freedom of speech and you also have the freedom to be offended.

You can spout as much hatred as you want, so long as you keep your hands to yourself.

I agree with you completely. I'm all for civility, however civility IS NOT required for freedom of speech. Again, I am not advocating using names or anger or even hating, however I am very much supporting the freedom to do such.

It's often said that true freedom is not allowing the expression of something you already agree with, but allowing the expression of something YOU DON'T agree with.

The only limits to free speech are if a reasonable person would find immediate danger in those words. The common example is yelling "fire" in a crowded theater, as a fire in enclosed places means the same TO EVERY reasonable person. Therefore panic would occur and potentially death.

Offending somebody IS NOT an immediate danger, especially to a reasonable person. Offense is subjective. And, as you know, many Muslims DID NOT protest or kill anyone after a Koran was burned.
