Well there is such proof but no one wants to listen. The results demonstrate an unassailable correlation with historic climate data and because the data can be calculated, the future climate patterns can also be calculated, a forecast for the next two decades is shown and we are in for a long cold spell in the Northern hemisphere.

@Internetwanker : Anyway, I agree that the global climate appears to be changing and I agree that our society is about to change drastically within the next few decades and possibly even the next few years, however all I was pointing out is that the trend of global warming seems far from proven and that humans or CO2 were the main cause of the climate change seems dubious as well. What about sun spots, for example?

It does appear our climate is going through some changes, but thusfar I haven't seen any convincing arguments that the climate is actually warming up as a whole and that CO2 is one of the main factors. The slight temp release triggered green house releases probably from froozen tundras, this releases further increased the temperature which caused further green house gas releases. the end temp increase was around 6C°. Without CO2 life on this planet would not be possible. Yes the Earth has been warming , for more than 10,000 years since the last ice age. However if you want to say CO2 is the cause then you'll have to explain how an atmospheric gas that is less than 4 hundredths of 1 percent of the atmosphere can trap enough radiation to overheat the Earth.

CO2 is not a poison, no one is saying it is (although the EPA declared it a pollutant), but physics shows that changing the composition of the atmosphere is risky so the precautionary principle is being applied.

@Internetwanker : Anyway, I agree that the global climate appears to be changing and I agree that our society is about to change drastically within the next few decades and possibly even the next few years, however all I was pointing out is that the trend of global warming seems far from proven and that humans or CO2 were the main cause of the climate change seems dubious as well. What about sun spots, for example?

@Internetwanker : I don't know about Greenland, but here in Belgium (right below the Netherlands) this winter was the coldest one in decades. It does appear our climate is going through some changes, but thusfar I haven't seen any convincing arguments that the climate is actually warming up as a whole and that CO2 is one of the main factors. It bears every sign of a scam to make money and increase the global reach of the corporate elite.

@Internetwanker : I do know that this winter it's been colder here in Belgium than it's been for decades, which does raise a few questions on how the "symptoms" are measured. Sure, scientists can be bought be corporations but it's not like nobody profits from this whole CO2 scam. And yes it is a scam, because even if CO2 actually did play such an important role in our climate as they say a far better approach would have been to decrease cutting forrests and plant more trees.

If I had to take a guess why I would say that he's SO paranoid about global gov that anytime the UN in involved he starts trying to see it as a conspiracy. We need to get alternative energy, cut back on luxury consumption, and start eating fresh local produce (like Gordan Ramsay says lol). I have personally seen the Bear Glacier, the Illecillewaet Glacier, the Athabasca Glacier and several others recede significantly over the last twenty years. Why do you think all the Arctic Nations, including the US, are bickering over who owns the Arctic sea bed? Because the oil under the sea bed will be accessible in a few short years - because the ice is disappearing. This is all common knowledge. Do some research.

Well I wonder how it comes that my swedish weather organisation "SMHI" shows 2°C temp increase and 11% increase in rainfall since measurements started in end 1800. SMHI's data is precisely consistent with all other weather organistations around the world that do their own statistics. But all are in this fraud right? The slight temp release triggered green house releases probably from froozen tundras, this releases further increased the temperature which caused further green house gas releases. the end temp increase was around 6C°. There are other feedback mechanisms but I do not want to complicate it to much for you.

That you do not hear anything about the ozone layue does not mean the problem has dissapeared, luckily we have ceased with releasing CFC's so there is good hope the ozone hole will recover during the next 50 years or so.

In fact, the earth is in a cooling trend and the climate-gate emails confirm this! When you examine the infrastructure they wish to put in place to 'reduce carbon dioxide' it's implementation of Carbon Sequestration and Recovery. Sequestering CO2 in giant underground reservoirs in order to recover OIL.

@Sic68Dub The it's only the sun denier myth seems to be a stubborn one. There is no correlation between today's warming trend and sun spots or solar activity. If the sun was the only player we should have a slight cooling trend now. On the other hand there is very good correlation between incresed greenhouse gases and current increased temperatures. Explain why earth had an average temperature of 50°C 3 billion years ago when the sun was 30% weaker than now.
