remember the old Burger Chef bird houses? or the "See Rock City " birdhouses this one reminded me of them....nice job,,,,.

a very elegant design. but you forgot an essential item for a birdhouse. a cleanout trapdoor or easily removable piece somewhere to clean out the old nests at the end of each season. this is important for the birds and you will at one time get wasps or something similar nesting and need to get rid of them. old birdnests harbour mites which will infest the next nest. there are many reasons for cleanouts. something I see missing in all decorative birdhouses.
