I love Devin Townsend's naive attitude in this video, it makes you realize that you are nothing when compared to the power of life. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but this is what I see in this song. i don't think that devin would ever let that happen - SYL was a reaction to how he saw the music business (whilst working with Steve Vai) and it's always been heavy! Plus, he's well established as a solo artist, so he's always got that as a creative outlet for his less-than-death-metal-crazynes­s. Devin could never 'sell-out' as such - he's too widespread an artist to ever be held in by any genre-boundaries
