  • I hope Tony won't come fat

  • InSANE in the membrane!!!!!!!!!!

  • Way to make white people look bad.

  • at 2:53 lol Denis missed the crash cymbal xD xD who else spotted. XD

  • FANTASTIC DEUMMERS

  • The Best

  • 2:29 "yeah" awesome

  • I literally stopped this video at the 3:45 mark to try and comprehend what I've just witnessed. It is so beyond what the vast majority of even most professional drummers do, it's just mind-blowing.

  • this kinda stuff makes me feel so fucking insignificant.

  • Two of my favorite drummers.

  • NICEEEE!!!!!!!

  • put these two behind drums and its murder lol done deal two beast right here ya'll

  • i am not saying i am any near the level dennis chambers or tony is but they kinda limit themselves to the variety of possibliltiies out there

  • ther grooves are soo much interesting but because there's more variations in it

  • the problem is there's just singel stroke rolls being used there's like over 50 diffrerent rudiments that are used out there it's kinda boring just listening to single stroke that's why it's better to learn how to read drum notation because you can learn so much other interesting rudiments to use in solos

  • @alexakaseme1 i get what u say, but what makes these duet beautiful is not which rudiment they use during their fills, nor their independence and variations, i believe that, when talking about someone like Chambers and Tony it all comes down to feel and groove, being able to combine them with some interesting chops and those "boring" single stroke rolls. Just my humble opinion.

  • Two amazing drummers. Thanks for posting.

  • Awesome. DC has the sickest single strokes going. How does a man that large move so fast?!

  • inspirations!

  • I love the bass drum beat they get going at around 5:00. The two of them working together without words, only their hands and feet is pretty inspiring.

  • both very amazing drummers. No you CAN NOT say one is better, but for me its like this.....

Tony Royster: "holy crap!", "damn thats crazy"

    Dennis Chambers: "mmmm", "super tasty".

    looooove both of these guys.

  • @wolverine114 look up all of dennis chambers from the 80's threw the early 90's and u will see his true skill every thing tony is doing dennis already done and yes he is better then tony royster because he taught him you havnet seen half of dc videos if u think they are equal dc is old on here

  • i am a brutal death metal fan, but i still enjoy watching real talents like theese, what an inspiration....

  • dont you love when you watch most of a videa before realizing that you can watch it in a higher resolution :/ ..... regardless some sick drumming

  • Tony Royster is screwed, he only has two floor toms.

  • @nengstro well no, he has 4

  • If you don't favorite this and hit the like button you must be an ugly pig.

  • This is more of a shed than a drum battle

  • The groove at 4:25 is so fucking tasty..

  • @EatSleepGrow yeah that shit was dope!!!!

  • 4 people have a snare drum for a head.

  • looks like high speed camera

  • i guess Dave has to come in and show these hacks how it's done.

  • can you imagine their high score at Whack-a-mole in the arcade???

  • I'd love to see Tony go up against Dylan Elise. Now THAT would be a drum battle.

  • @cygnus53 Dylan Elise is shit. When Tony was 12 he was still better than Dylan now.

  • Lol, wtf at 5:00!! :D

  • @arenbudy What do you mean? They film the feet so that people can see what the drummers do with the pedals.

  • Seeing the co evolution of these two drummers since their first drum duet when Jr. was 12, until now, is truly amazing.

  • some of his stuff is so fast it looks like it's been sped up when it's not been!

  • these guys have been together since tony was like 12

  • Why the hell do you mention about the dislikes and the haters on such a video... Jeez...!! You keep giving them the attention they don't deserve... ENOUGH of commenting the dislikes and bullshit... You hate Justin Beaver but you're acting like him... STOP being gossip-like bitches...!!

  • Do they really need them double peds?! XD

  • Look how big tony's drum set is yo crazy check the footwork at 2:25

  • Look how big tony's drum set is yo crazy

  • He starts off with a 7/8, man. And Tony just feels the beat immediately. They're both so tight and groovy it should be illegal.

  • FIRST OF ALL: To get Dennis and Tony on the set in the SAME ROOM is AMAZING. You have two of the top 5 drummers on the planet in one room shedding. Who CARES who's OPINION of which of them is BETTER on YOUTUBE MATTERS? Dennis hands down is top 2 and Tony for a young guy for what he does is top 5: Eric Moore, Aaron Spears, Calvin Rodgers, Rexell Hardy, etc. Most of the dudes making negative comments DON'T EVEN PLAY!!! LOL

  • Dennis Chamber es mas rapido que FLASH

  • Royster has no business even being in the same county as Dennis Chambers

  • @jadrummer110 Royster studied with Chambers for a long time, and they've done a bunch of videos together. Seems awfully silly to claim Royster isn't in the same league when you consider that Chambers wasn't giving drum clinics at the age of 12. It's fine to like one over the other, but to claim one is better than the other (especially noting that they're both world famous) is just stupid.

  • @whateverman666 What'smore dumb is to not recognize that Tony has 1/4 th talent that Dennis does. Stay with jay z bitch. That;'s about your level..

  • @fuzzz182 fuckwit?? Jealous of that bitch...really..ive been more time in the biz than him and I didnt linger at a mediocre level playing Jonas Brothers. Even though Im obscure and no famous at all, I can sleep at nite knowing im not a cheap ripoff celeb..and its not respect, Potgieter is a great ass kisser. So Im not "jealous' at all, I just think hes a lucky piece of scum

  • @OfivetwoekVeeDee Amen on the Cobus analysis.. No creativity and a great lack of technique and he's going nowhere past the youtube teen fan club level..

  • Dennis sounded pleasantly surprised many times. Rooting him on. Thats called being a professional.

  • Dennis Chamber is just too fucking fast

  • I dunno how the hire Cuntus Potcheater to play in the same place where they played...Dennis is incredibly obscure and some assholes called that south african douche "the best" ignoring Dennis Chambers at all..

  • @OfivetwoekVeeDee wow can anyone say jealous? Cobus idolises these two blokes, probably like you or me, and has not once claimed to be better than, or even on par, with them. difference is he's living his dream and probably couldn't give a flying fuck what you or i think. personally i think he's a creative and innovative drummer - good luck to him. and personally i think you're a fuckwit (but that's just my opinion.) have a nice day.

  • Whoever watches this must be a masochist...

  • Wow, wow, relax! i was just wondering! it's not an offense or something!

  • Man, why would you have 3 floors on one kit?

  • @MrTomzProductions because hes not poor like you?

  • @dionf23 Who the fuck posts a comment like that? Seriously where the fuck did that come from you fucking piece of shit? I like the fact that he has three floor toms, but when someone is asking why it's no reason to tell that that they are fucking poor and stupid. You need to calm the fuck down asshole.

  • @XxStrongDrums1996xX "where the fuck did that come from you fucking piece of shit?"

"You need to calm the fuck down asshole"

ahhhhhh the irony of the self contradictor ...... my good good friend... you need to pop some chills pills bro

  • @dionf23 Buddy, don't tell me to take some chill pills when you are calling someone a poor douchebag when they ask a simple question.

  • @MrTomzProductions also...how the fuck do you expect him to do his epic finishing roll without many floors ya douche

  • @MrTomzProductions The three floor toms... It came from Tony Williams' influence. If you don't know who that is I pity you..

  • 4:25 FAIL for misspelling the word bloody

  • ...four people are a part of the rhythmless nation...

  • @alkhami1 those 4 are probably guitarists.. haha

  • @alkhami1 four people didn't realize these monsters were soloing over 7/8 from 0:10 to 4:06

  • @drumforlife720 They thought "You know, I feel like there's something missing here"...Yeah there is something missing - One 8th note, bitch!

  • Dennis is probably thinking at 4:27 "Meh... Hes okay :P"

  • Phil Collins is still the best drummer! hahaha

  • @Vtecrocker101 Hahahaha! Agreed!

  • if your doin lesson let me kno

  • hahahahaha dennis' face at 3:51 !

  • Vinnies better than Peart no he's not Pearts better than Vinnie no he's not Travis is better than both!!! AAaarrgghh soooo pointless

  • Travis barker is better than those two bitchez.

  • @SuperStabman Eh hem... GTFO

  • @SuperStabman Apparently, you stop making comments that make no sense.

  • Hey guys I got an idea...shut the fuck up and watch drums.

  • @MadmanMoon :D ty

  • @MadmanMoon that goes for you too dumbass

  • So glad he grew out of that suuuuuper gay double petal/hit all the cymbals that he did when he was little.

  • @pathemus Still better than you...

  • @JordanSchultz00 Very true, but still gay.

  • Travis Barker wouldn't even dare to show his face here.

  • lol first time I've seen someone with three consecutive floor toms.

  • @CJNconor are you serious

  • @monkywithmachineguns Yeah, it's not very common at all.

  • unbelievable drummers....maybe the best drum duet in the planet!

  • love tool, but NO.

  • Dennis Chambers taught Tony?

  • @188metalhead881 that was his mentor growing up

  • wow nice guys

  • awesome guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:24 his right foot reminds me of John Blackwell's foot.

  • tony all day!

  • DC is straight business. he makes he time count.

  • DRUMGASM!!

  • dos amigos compartiendo el groove... yeah!!! asi debe ser la musica

  • The dude on DWs could have went WAY faster if he was wearing Nike's. Just sayin'.

  • @Ericquin6515 doesn't matter what shoes Tony Royster is wearing. He's always fast. :)

  • Is Dennis Chambers playing with two Mastersound bottoms as hats?

  • royster was more creative i think

  • @faithwomen1 Royster is a bad student of Dennis, Dennis did much more in his life when it comes to creativity than Royster

  • sorry but dennis was more effective!

  • they didn´t play samba

  • @setnewer do you mean Tony royster jr or sr

  • Tony royster jr wins for me

  • Denis Chambers has never impressed me..he's amazing at 2 bar fills, but I find that there are a lot of drummers out there with much more exciting vocabulary and technique.

  • H.O.L.Y. .S.H.I.T.

  • 6:45-6:53 dennis chambers shut it down with that move tony looked over at him like dam dennis knew what to do he did that move twice hell i been trying to learn that combo for months tony is a master dennis is a wizard great stuff

  • i feel that tony's fills are crazier and faster but dennis makes more effective ones and personally i perfer the way dennis plays even though their both amazing

  • i wish i had their drum kits. they sound so good :D especially when u got people like them playing them :D

  • also buddy rich was white!!!

  • vinnie colauita, buddy rich, dave weckl, virgil donati, steve gadd and gavis harrison are all white.

  • @ChrisVejl Of course, Gadd goes first in the feel department, but Weckl's got some of the best chops i've ever seen. Have you seen the video with Gadd Weckl and Colaiuta playing a trio? It's insanity at its finest.

  • What My Idol!

  • Comment removed

  • 6:14 - 6:21. That is all.

  • this is so awesome. they look like father and song jamming together.

  • Nice groove in 7!

  • Jojo mayer is white. Enough said.

  • what happend in 4:00-:05

  • @klearlykahmerican What-EVER Gavin Harrison=the SHIT.

  • Just let me use the kit Tony using for one day....

  • @datdrumaboy agreed! id kill it on that kit

  • @raiders1815 I would have a field day on that kit.

  • Portnoys a beast, Roysters a beast, and Chambers is a beast... they play better than yall do thats for sure, white or black, they're still kicking all yalls asses. Doesnt matter if they are over rated or underrated.

  • @DrummaAddict LOL two things: 1. TAKEN 2. Tony Royster Jr. can play any style, as to where Mike Portnoy is over-rated for being in a famous metal band.

  • When I saw the title I was like ''ahhh this otta be good!!

  • there just has to be that one douchebag that dislikes this..

  • nobody can beat chambers.... he's a fuckin beast.

  • 315 to 350. AMAZING

  • @blackheartogram And because Royster is in Jay-z's band. Which probably pays better than any rock gig. Sadly. Haha.

  • @littledrummerboy420 actually no , cause jay-z get the most of the money , in a rock gig if u are famous like ax7 you get a lot more cause u are part of the band if u know what i mean

  • this was dope! omg! they always killin!

  • Personally, I think this type of music is what invented the drumset. Metalheads, jazzheads, and r&b heads can rave all they want about their precious drummers, but I mean, funk is where it is fucking at. Although, jazz comes a close second in best drumming music.

  • common it's pretty obvious tony royster jr owned chambers!!! his pedal work is better and his combinations are more wow. tony royster jr ftw

  • chambers has slowed down a bit but he's still legendary in his drumming

  • dennis chambers wins

    EASILY

TONY ROYSTER IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE OH MIGHTY DENNIS

  • @TheMASDrummer U SUCK NIGGER

  • /watch?v=TwRuvomaEDw

  • 3:22 - 3:41 looks like it's been fast forwarded hahaha I love tony royster jr. !! btw anyone happen to try his signature sticks. they're kick butt.

  • io come tt quelli che suonano la batteria capiscono che fottuti maestri sono sti 2 a suonare..cazzo tony royster x me è il batterista x eccellenza..spacca troppo il culo..

  • @FireSoulzX Tony Royster Sr is his dad..

  • No one can beat black people in drumming. Don't try, it won't work. They just know something us whiteys just grab at.

  • Thinking Buddy Rich, if he were alive, might disagree.

  • @klearlykahmerican haha you know it

  • @klearlykahmerican I'm white and I votes this up

  • @klearlykahmerican no whiteone can beat black people *cough cough*

  • @klearlykahmerican Is it watermelons?

  • @klearlykahmerican "us whiteys"?!?!?! what the FUCK you talkin bout you biggoted prick!

  • @klearlykahmerican Why don't you discuss that a little with Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Jeff Porcaro, Benny Greb, Simon Phillips, Jojo Mayer, Gavin Harrison or... well, lots of others?

  • @ChrisVejl but us blacks will never be defeated!!!!! BLACK POWER (no racisms intended)
