i am not saying i am any near the level dennis chambers or tony is but they kinda limit themselves to the variety of possibliltiies out there

the problem is there's just singel stroke rolls being used there's like over 50 diffrerent rudiments that are used out there it's kinda boring just listening to single stroke that's why it's better to learn how to read drum notation because you can learn so much other interesting rudiments to use in solos

@alexakaseme1 i get what u say, but what makes these duet beautiful is not which rudiment they use during their fills, nor their independence and variations, i believe that, when talking about someone like Chambers and Tony it all comes down to feel and groove, being able to combine them with some interesting chops and those "boring" single stroke rolls. Just my humble opinion.
