  • My friend...wondered what happened to you. We met in the early seventies in Iowa...I was teaching at the Writer's Workshop University of Iowa...Now I see that you are a pioneer. Congratulations! I'm in Facebook. Write to me. Much love, Rosalyn (Drexler).

  • lovley work! really

  • Helen,

Love witnessing a slice of your presentation in this video. Thank you Susan for creating it. Good job in capturing authentic flavor and essence of a few moments during that day. I was sorry to not be able to attend and yet now feel richer having received this YouTube gift.

  • ;-))

  • i am so sorry that i missed this compelling lecture and insight into helen's world. i too was an artist in the early 70's (graduated mid '70's from sdsu-BA fine art ) and am totally impressed with who and what women artists have emerged since. and yes, there were only those 3 artists of note at the time. it was an uphill, well, seemingly an impossible hill to climb.

  • if every woman told her story in SOME form, as helen does so exquisitley in painting, a great healing would take place around the world. thank YOU, helen!
