Sufism is a denomination of Islam and sindhi is a language spoken by people, predominantly found in Sindh region of Pakistan. So do Hindu,Zorastrian sindhi people rever Jhoole lal and mast qalandar?And if you are Muslim sindhi, are you a sufi? Just trying to understand the relation between Sufism, Sindhi. Thank you

1. Not a qawali nor a bhajan... its a genre called 'dhamaal' dedicated to the sufis of south asia and onwards up to Turkey.

2. This one is particularly about "lal Shahbaz Qalandar' of Tajik origin who lived from 1177 to 1272. His shrine is in Sehwan Sharif, Sind Pakistan.

3. Dhamal music is used in particular by 'malangs' at the shrine to offer a particular 'head banging' dance offering.
