Flew Sydney to San Francisco return a few years ago.Was good. Crew on both flights were great. Food was good. Only let down is no PTV's. So in August, I'm flying V Australia (Virgin Australia) to LA. Economy out, Premium Economy home, and was only $100 more than what United was charging!!

UAL is positively horrible! I fly with them domestically often and sometimes long-haul and I can tell you they and other US airlines are, yes, in the dumps! Singapore Airlines and other Asian carriers rule! SIA's KrisWorld is so much better than United's Entertainment Network. On long flights on their B744's in Y you don't even have a PTV!

how many times have u been on UA.. I have been on about 100 times and every time it is just another horrible experiance. There first class sucks 7 in more leg room then in coach and ur paying 700 dollars extra.

Depends where you sit on the wing NOISY in First you can here the air flow over the body and a faint sound of the engines depends where you are (outside the plane ya need major ear protecion!!!
